A thunderstorm rolling in, recorded at a frame every 2 seconds, and played back at 15 frames per second.

At least at first, this one came out slightly better than the time lapse sequence I did a couple of days ago, mainly because I remembered to turn off autofocus.

On the other hand, for some reason, we slightly lose focus about a third of the way into this one, rendering the rest of the sequence a fuzzy mess that just kind of peters out at the end. Oh well.

The clouds just minutes before the thunderstorm began.

These three in a native canoe were coming across the River Volta when were caught up in a very bad thunderstorm.

this is the leading edge of a huge thunderstorm heading west from the Superstition Mountains. The Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the old mining town of Superior for 60 mph winds and hail. It's headed my way. Maybe. Maybe not.

The thunderstorm passes over with heavy rain and hail. Shortly after this photo was taken, violent winds hit, knocking down trees and damaging roofs in my area as well as knocking out my power.
