Well, here we go again! I have been out tonight chasing storms! This is currently moving to the southeast producing high winds, tornado funnels and possible hail. Weather watches, warnings are non-stop in areas ahead of this "Bad Boy!" The water in the foreground is a flooded farm field from all the rain received Saturday and Sunday!

Seems like a massive thunderstorm just missed Hamburg this evening. The huge cloud was illuminated by lightning every couple of seconds.
Glad I grabbed my Rebel when headed out to meet some friends for dinner, on the off chance the thunderstorm would produce something worth seeing

Shows some of the fairly distinct cyclonic structure of the storm. Not long after this, I could barely see that building through the torrential rain.

Following a thunderstorm with severe rain and hail, we could observe another distant thunderstorm with beautiful flashes in the blue hour.

We had an interesting sunset last night that I knew wouldn't turn out in the camera, so I decided to play around with a little HDR.
I'm satisfied with the results with the exception of the fact that no matter what I do I don't seem to be able to get my edges right. (Look at the tops of the houses.) Tips anyone?
