As a way to cope with circumstances beyond my control, survive and work to keep fighting for life I decided to try to take at least one photo (or more) each day. I call this “a photo (or more) a day.” Practicing this form of therapeutic photography helps me work to focus on the present moment, gives me something familiar and enjoyable to focus on as I use photography skills that have become like second-nature to me and being able to view the images I capture helps me recall what I was thinking, feeling and noticing at the moment when I created the photos. I may not always have the energy, time or capacity to share photos from this series—especially with the very challenging circumstances my family and I are experiencing—and will do my best to continue taking a photo (or more) a day even if I’m not able to share.

A former First Leeds B9TL/Wright Gemini 36230 BD12TBY is captured working for its home depot of Bath whilst in Paulton.

Light filtering through the canopy in the early morning. I was there searching for my lost ball....overestimated the distance and overshot the green.
the Marymoor way goes through Marymoor park from west to east. a pretty good shortcut for bikers. a pretty good spot for photographers. :)

India Day 0 - Dublin and Travel
On the bus back to Dublin airport from the town we travel through this long tunnel.
Got another close up of a Western Tanager through the branches on the Burma Road side of Linley Valley yesterday. I almost didn't post this image but I kind of like the colours and the detail on the parts that were not obscured by the leaves. Taken with the 600mm + 1.4X.
"Before God, we are confident of this through Christ: not that we are qualified in ourselves to claim anything as our own work: all our qualifications come from God. He is the one who has given us the qualifications to be the administrators of this new covenant, which is not a covenant of written letters but of the Spirit: the written letters bring death, but the Spirit gives life. Now if the administering of death, in the written letters engraved on stones, was accompanied by such a brightness that the Israelites could not bear looking at the face of Moses, though it was a brightness that faded, then how much greater will be the brightness that surrounds the administering of the Spirit! For if there was any splendour in administering condemnation, there must be very much greater splendour in administering justification. In fact, compared with this greater splendour, the thing that used to have such splendour now seems to have none; and if what was so temporary had any splendour, there must be much more in what is going to last for ever."

I spotted the crocosmia flowers through the garden gate while wandering along a country lane as the sun was setting. Taken in the Stinchar Valley, Ayrshire, Scotland
Just going through my London shots from last year to see if I had anything else to use, I thought this photo would look good if I increase the contrast from the dark and light side, so that has been exaggerated.
Rock Island Train No. 4, the Golden State, passes through the west end of East LaSalle in 1960 with a pair of EMD E7s.
The joint CRI&P / Southern Pacific train ran against the Union Pacific / Milwaukee Road City of Los Angeles and the Santa Fe Super Chief on the Los Angeles - Chicago corridor. A longer schedule and more bland scenery on the Golden State route made it difficult to compete with the more well-known rivals. The main advantage the train offered was connections to many intermediate cities which were not easily reached by either of the other two trains.
