Dear Flickr friends,
sorry for my absence, I was not really away, but busy with my second account: Yarin's 365 Stories. A project in which I do a kind of everyday photography, not always in the glossy style, not always perfectly formed or genre-faithful. I try to develop my photography in different areas. Of course, landscape photography is my favorite, where I can find myself again and again.
I would be glad if you come to visit me once. You can find me here ...

Happy weekend and good times for You!

Location: The Rhinefall at Neuhausen/ Switzerland today
DELIGHTFUL and often confiding little bird with a proportionately very long tail and seemingly an almost spherical body. The long-tailed Tit is often seen in rather animated flocks; it moves in a rather jerky fashion and has acrobatic feeding habits, which is so entertaining to watch, one of my favorite birds, captured through the kitchen window on a very wet day, hence the 1/30 shutter speed on a I.S.O of 1250.

THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND, please leave a comment, and I will look forward to returning the visit.
Stay safe and well, God loves you, keep a smile on your face and love in your heart for everyone..............................Tomx

* The last post from my trip to Seville at least for a while . It is another shot from the Plaza de España that we saw on our first afternoon. We were equally impressed by the architecture but also by the wonderful warm temperatures . Two months later and I am still waiting for a little warmth its been a cool wet Spring this year
The Plaza de España is is a beautiful collection of buildings in the Parque de María Luisa in Seville. It was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. The Plaza was, designed by Aníbal González, was a principal building built on the Maria Luisa Park's edge to showcase Spain's industry and technology exhibits. González combined a mix of 1920s Art Deco and Spanish Renaissance Revival, Spanish Baroque Revival and Neo-Mudéjar styles. The Plaza de España complex is a huge half-circle; the buildings are accessible by four bridges over the moat, which represent the ancient kingdoms of Spain. In the centre is the Vicente Traver fountain.

Just back from a trip to the Boonies folks and so so glad I'm back, pretty unproductive I might add, but there is always something.
This is a guy I got sometime last week and is probably the best image I've ever taken of this species, and will not be so quick in the future to pass them up.
Thank you for stopping by and for all the very kind words, much appreciated.
Good Friday morning everyone, and yet another week passed and still alive and somewhat well, thank goodness.
Here is the same Osprey and thought for sure he was going, but it was not until I took the camera from my eye that he went, UGH.
Thank you all for everything, and thanks to Don D in Canada for my I.D.
POSTING JUVENILE BIRDS FROM HOME
==================================
A FAMILIAR and unmistakable black and white, long tailed bird, the Juvenile has more black plumage, with the head feathers still to mature. at close range a bluish-green sheen can be seen on the wings and tail. A opporttunistic omnivore, its diet includes fruit from our fig tree, insects, animal road kills and the eggs and young of birds, it will also happily scavenge discarded leftover foods scraps. Widespread resident all year round.

Keep safe my friends, God bless you........................Tomx
Just one look at them makes a gloomy winter day look much better. These little birds always bring a smile to my face.
Shooting through two home made filters ( a sheet of screening and a piece of thick plate glass from a cocktail table, allowing the light to run across it) and some post processing to emulate a salt paper calotype of the 1840's.
I am quite enamored by the photography of the nineteenth century. The photographers brought an unpretentious sense of poetics to their work.
