The Tale of the Three Sisters | www.onthreelegs.com
I took this from the echo point lookout, the view from this lookout is amazing!
The commonly told legend of the Three Sisters is that three sisters (Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo') lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe. They fell in love with three men from a neighbouring tribe (the Nepean tribe), but marriage was forbidden by tribal law. The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters. A major tribal battle ensued, and the sisters were turned to stone by an elder to protect them, but he was killed in the fighting and no one else could turn them back. This legend is claimed to be an Indigenous Australian Dreamtime legend. - Wikipedia

View from the Stará Ľubovňa Castle, Slovakia on the Three Crowns Massif in the Pieniny Mountains in the south of Poland.
Highest point: 982 m (3,222 ft).
The frontier castle of Stará Ľubovňa was built between 1301-1308 to protect the Polish trade roads. First written reports are dated from the early 14th century. Between 1412-1772 the castle hosted Polish magistrates, administrators of the so-called Polish lien of king Sigimund of Luxemburg. After a fire in 1553 the castle was reconstructed in Renaissance, later in Baroque style but fell into disrepair after 1772. It was partly renewed by the Zamoysky family after 1883.
