Liverpool's 'Three Graces'. The Port of Liverpool Building, in the foreground, was the first to be built (1903-1907), the Royal Liver Building, furthest away, was the second (1908-1911) and the Cunard Building, in the centre, third (1914-1916). A century later they were joined, on the Pier Head, by the contrasting but impressive modern structure built to house the Museum of Liverpool (opened 2011) from which this view may be had (through glass).

'Modified Hall; 4-6-0 6989 'Wightwick Hall' passes through the Three Arch Bridge on the Bluebell Railway during an excellent John Bowers photographic charter on 17th April 2023. A 'mini' Sonning Cutting with superbly maintained infrastructure. Highly commendable!

Canaima Lagoon is, to me, the place with the greatest beauty per square meter I have ever known. Within its mirror-like waters stand three moriche palms, silent guardians of that paradise, ancient sentinels watching the passage of time. During the rainy season, Mother Nature gently descends and bathes their feet, wrapping them in the sacred abundance of water, as if once again blessing the land she herself dreamed into being.
A bit of smoke from recent hazard reduction controlled burns adds a nice little mood kicka to the jamison valley and the three sisters on sunset..
