She asked me to make blood come out of her eyes when she posed for this shot but I just couldn't do it to her :)

the early thought was the 'big flick' in 2010 and became the Earth Hour

Haneburg is a castle in East Frisia, Germany. It is one of the few buildings remaining of the Renaissance time in north-west Germany, which was much affected by the Netherlands. The castle was built by the chieftain of Leer, Hayo Unken, in the middle of the 15th century.

"For some time I have thought of writing, but I have hesitated until now, for truly, I feared to expose myself to the criticism of men... for as it is said, 'wisdom shall be recognized in speech, and in understanding, and in knowledge and in the learning of truth.' An Old Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

and rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I thought I would do the suntan pantyhose thing today! I'm happy I did because these pantyhose feel so good!

I am in a constant dilemma. Will i continue using analogue gear..or not and move completely to digital. It is a question of time and money.

The fun of analogue is here, the fun of digital is also here. But i cannot invest money in both so a decision has to be made in the (near) future.

ow btw press 'L' please, much better on black ;-)

This was just a snap - then a ‘throw away’ - just before binning it I stopped & re-looked. Now I love this shot - Alfie is such an active little boy but this moment caught him ‘thinking’ and it really made me think for a while what thoughts such a young child might have………

Thought i would share this one.sooc

Am certain some in cold weather climates are ready to "spring forward"..perhaps these African daisies will chase away the winter blues.

Il calore di questa notte blu

mi fa pensare

che in un porto non molto lontano

ci sei tu.

La stella che mi prende per mano

brilla come la luce dei tuoi occhi

quando mi dicevi “Ti amo !”.

La fotografia

che stringo in mano da ore

è l’unico ricordo

di un dolce amore.

Seduto sulla spiaggia

e sorridendo della luna,

ora che sei lontana,

voglio partire, ritrovarti,

e sapere se con te avrò fortuna.

English

the heat of this blue night

it makes to think me

that you stay

in a port not far away.

The star that takes me by hand

Shines like the light of your eyes

when you said to me I love you.

The photography

that I tighten in hand from hours

it is the only memory

of a sweet love.

Seated on the beach and smiling

About this moon,

now that you are far away,

I want to leave, to find you,

and to know if with you

I will be lucky. (sorry for traslation)

Fashion shooting held in Milan.

Here Susanna, lovely Italian model, looks like she's thinking about big issues while posing near the bridge.

Nikon D810 + Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G are a great combo, aren't they? :D

I thought I was watching the female in the garden, but when I snapped the last shot, I saw a tiny flash of red. When I checked the pictures later I realized it was a young male. He has about 5-6 new ruby feathers.

Queria muito carimbar esse rosa e procurando nas minhas placas achei essa estampa maravilhosa da Sugar Bubbles.

A placa é a SB 039, usei o esmalte preto para carimbo da La Femme e carimbo da Moyou.

Amei o resultado!

This photo is of Brendan Burg up in Northern Arizona around the Sedona area. The photo is taken across the stream area of Manresa. In this photo, Burg was meant to be posing in a thoughtful position looking off to the side showing how he is lost in his thoughts. Then I took around four other photos with Brendan's arms wrapped around the tree. I went back and stacked all of them and deleted the rest of Brendan's body from each shot. I flattened the image and then made the entire image black and white. I then upped the clarity and contrast.

This photo fits into my concentration because it represents the emotion of loneliness and what can come out of loneliness. The arms are metaphors for bad thoughts because they are just eery appendages with no bodies or substances attached to them hence, the thoughts.

Happy thoughts attract happy people into your life.

Check it on Black! This must have been one of the first shots I took with the new Cokin Tobacco filter I picked up in Budapest... I obviously needed some more practice.

An entry for a competition.

Hola! May I ask you to vote for me using the link below?

nakano-knives.com/pages/fruit-posts?fruit_id=Fruitful-Tho...

I was invited to participate in a fruit cutting challenge by Nakano Knives, a Japanese knife maker, and this is what I put together using:

Pineapple

Apple

Blood orange

Kiwi

Mango

Papaya

Honeydew melon

What motivated me to participate was the main prize: a trip to Japan! Visiting Japan has been on the top of my wishlist for years.

The winner will be the entry that receives the most votes. Mine is behind at this time. 👀

As a mini prize to voters, Nakano Knives is giving a free 120-page e-book with 20 exclusive recipes.

Thank you in advance!

If we win, I will document the whole trip on Social Media. 👏If I don’t win, we still get to make the recipes from the e-book.

Win-win. 😁 I haven’t been paid to participate.

IMPORTANT: For the vote to be valid, we need to check the email that they send and click on the link.

Thank you!!!

Elsa

PS. If you want to download and print this image for yourself, feel free to do so!

Souki can often seem unthinking, crazy and with the head in the clouds, but in fact she is mature, realistic and responsible. Actually she is very concerned about the world's problems.

You will not notice it because she is cheerful, positive and enthusiastic, but she is overwhelmed even to tears.

That's the moment when she takes a warm bath in the light of the candles and let her mind wander... wander to a place more joyful, beautiful and without malice.
