Some green and stained glass windows for St. Patricks day
"For some time I have thought of writing, but I have hesitated until now, for truly, I feared to expose myself to the criticism of men... for as it is said, 'wisdom shall be recognized in speech, and in understanding, and in knowledge and in the learning of truth.' St Patrick born c. 387 – died 17 March, 493

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I thought I would do the suntan pantyhose thing today! I'm happy I did because these pantyhose feel so good!
I am in a constant dilemma. Will i continue using analogue gear..or not and move completely to digital. It is a question of time and money.
The fun of analogue is here, the fun of digital is also here. But i cannot invest money in both so a decision has to be made in the (near) future.
ow btw press 'L' please, much better on black ;-)
Am certain some in cold weather climates are ready to "spring forward"..perhaps these African daisies will chase away the winter blues.
Il calore di questa notte blu
mi fa pensare
che in un porto non molto lontano
ci sei tu.
La stella che mi prende per mano
brilla come la luce dei tuoi occhi
quando mi dicevi “Ti amo !”.
La fotografia
che stringo in mano da ore
è l’unico ricordo
di un dolce amore.
Seduto sulla spiaggia
e sorridendo della luna,
ora che sei lontana,
voglio partire, ritrovarti,
e sapere se con te avrò fortuna.
English
the heat of this blue night
it makes to think me
that you stay
in a port not far away.
The star that takes me by hand
Shines like the light of your eyes
when you said to me I love you.
The photography
that I tighten in hand from hours
it is the only memory
of a sweet love.
Seated on the beach and smiling
About this moon,
now that you are far away,
I want to leave, to find you,
and to know if with you
I will be lucky. (sorry for traslation)

Here Susanna, lovely Italian model, looks like she's thinking about big issues while posing near the bridge.
Nikon D810 + Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G are a great combo, aren't they? :D

This photo is of Brendan Burg up in Northern Arizona around the Sedona area. The photo is taken across the stream area of Manresa. In this photo, Burg was meant to be posing in a thoughtful position looking off to the side showing how he is lost in his thoughts. Then I took around four other photos with Brendan's arms wrapped around the tree. I went back and stacked all of them and deleted the rest of Brendan's body from each shot. I flattened the image and then made the entire image black and white. I then upped the clarity and contrast.
This photo fits into my concentration because it represents the emotion of loneliness and what can come out of loneliness. The arms are metaphors for bad thoughts because they are just eery appendages with no bodies or substances attached to them hence, the thoughts.
I recently hit 112 followers, the same number of followers as I have on my old account, so I thought that was contest worthy. Prizes for the contest are as follows:
3rd place gets a shout out.
2nd place gets a shout out and a custom minifigure of your request.
And 1st place gets a shout out, and a one-shot comic of your request.
Now, I know what you're wondering: What is the contest? Well, while this may sound odd, it is to make a fig, drawing, or build of a book accurate Balrog from LotR! For those who have not read LotR and don't know the description of a Balrog and still want to enter the contest, here's a description:
Around 6'4''. Skin's not certain, possibly bronze or red. Long arms. Should have armour, no plate. Claws and fangs, compared to steel. Long hair, possibly on fire, but not made of fire. Eyes glowing yellow, flaming nostrils. Helmet. Tolkien tended to make helmets conical, but a Balrog's helmet isn't ever described. Human-shaped. Evil. Cloaked in fire and shadow. The shadow dims the fire, rather than the fire lighting the shadow. The shadow obscures the Balrog, but not enough for details even as small as its nostrils to be unseen. Shadow spreads out quite far. It should carry a whip made of fire in one hand, and one of several weapons in the other: a flaming sword's probably the best choice, but maces and a black axe in one case are also mentioned. If it's the axe, it's Gothmog, lord of Balrogs, so he should be especially terrifying. Make it terrifying even if it's not Gothmog.
Contest ends on June 14th, exactly one month from now. Have fun, and hope you enter!

Souki can often seem unthinking, crazy and with the head in the clouds, but in fact she is mature, realistic and responsible. Actually she is very concerned about the world's problems.
You will not notice it because she is cheerful, positive and enthusiastic, but she is overwhelmed even to tears.
That's the moment when she takes a warm bath in the light of the candles and let her mind wander... wander to a place more joyful, beautiful and without malice.

"I don't have Instagram, but my sister does. I'll ask her to look," said Abdul. He was relaxing in the park on a cloudy summer day.
Many people I have met while photographing have connected with me and become friends. Everyone has a story, and I've encountered numerous extraordinarily talented individuals.
I'm humbled by the generosity of individuals willing to spend some time with a curious street photographer.
