I thought the lighting would be nice for a quick shot of Stella.
Glad to finally be getting time to do some photography!

Years ago I illustrated a recurring piece in MAD Magazine called “Chilling Thoughts,” written by Desmond Devlin. It was usually three pages of them. I came across this one the other day. It’s interesting how MAD saw the future. Here’s one true “Chilling Thought.”
- Not exactly sure what to call this one but here’s an example of using the same concept but with a different object. I’ll start doing photograph tutorial requests soon by using polls. Check out my channel for my past tutorials 🔥🔥

A young man sits gazing out the window in deep thought at the White Hart Café where you can see some of my work hanging on the walls as well as get the coffee of your choice fresh ground on the premises, and some great food…
Thought it was about time I posted another picture showing my models. This isn't even all of it... There are 124 models in this picture plus I have another shelf with more stuff on it, a box full of old folds and some other models on my desk. I hope you like it :D
If you can, please add a note to show which model you like the most, I am interested to see what people think!

Bonkers having second thoughts about the desirability on escaping his carrier now that he's actually at the vet in Kitahiroshima...
This past weekend I went to a wonderful dinner on Haleiwa Farms by The Drunken Masterchef called Farm-To-Chopstix. Many of the ingredients in the five course dinner are from the farm there and prepared fresh for the meal. Each course was accompanied by a beer pairing from craft breweries. I was taking photos for the event. I’ll post some of them later, but this was my favorite shot of the night. After darkness fell I was using my flash mostly so the photos had some clarity and readability to them. But, I decided to go to auto-ISO and forego the flash for some “ambience” shots. This was actually one of the very last shots I took. It shows the warm vibe and overall contentment from the meal and communion with others… many of whom met for the first time that evening.
Not sure who this guy was but he was certainly deep in thought as I snapped the shot!

The big house was quiet....the family all away. It was at moments like this when she found herself pondering a great many things.....everything from what to have for dinner to the very nature of the universe and place in it to the looks that the Lady of the House gave her while she worked. It was those looks that most often occupied her thoughts. She wondered if she were reading them wrong......but they felt intense.....full of heat and a deep, terrible desire. The sorts of feelings that the Man of the House never engendered in his Lady. The sorts that only they're uniform-clad servant girl could. In these quiet moments.....she wondered if the Lady of the House would ever act on those feelings...or if she'd just push them deep till they faded away.
"Kathryn! Please come upstairs, Dear! I need you......" came a voice from far away. There was something different in the Lady's voice today. A small smirk came to her lips.....perhaps today was the day she'd find out.....

“So I stopped at a Jack in the Box on the way here, and the girl behind the counter said, "Hiya! Are you having an awesome day?" Not, "How are you doing today?" No. "Are you having an awesome day?" Which is pretty shitty because it puts the onus on me to disagree with her, like if I'm not having an "awesome day," suddenly I'm the negative one. Usually when people ask how I'm doing, the real answer is I'm doing shitty, but I can't say I'm doing shitty, because I don't even have a good reason to be doing shitty. So if I say, "I'm doing shitty," then they say, "Why? What's wrong?" And I have to be like, "I don't know, all of it?" So instead, when people ask me how I'm doing, I usually say, "I am doing so great." But when this girl at the Jack in the Box asked me if I was having an awesome day, I thought, well, today I'm actually allowed to feel shitty, today I have a good reason, so I said to her, "Well, my mom died." And she immediately burst into tears. So now *I* have to comfort *her*, which is annoying, and meanwhile, there's a line of people forming behind me, who are all giving me these real judgy looks because I made the Jack in the Box girl cry. And she's bawling, and she's saying, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," and I'm like, "It's fine, it's fine. I mean, it's not fine, but, you know, it's... fine. And I would like to order a Double Jack Meal, and I've kinda got somewhere to be, so maybe less with the crying and more with the frying, huh?" And the girl apologizes, again, and she offers me a free churro with my meal. And as I'm leaving, I think, "I just got a free churro because my mom died." No one ever tells you when your mom dies, you get a free churro.

A long dark winter ahead - looking into a candle flame and letting your thoughts fly - dreaming of lovely warm, bright summer days
.
my mind is
a big hunk of irrevocable nothing which touch and
taste and smell and hearing and sight keep hitting and
chipping with sharp fatal tools
in an agony of sensual chisels i perform squirms of
chrome and execute strides of cobalt
nevertheless i
feel that i cleverly am being altered that i slightly am
becoming something a little different, in fact
myself
hereupon helpless i utter lilac shrieks and scarlet
bellowings.
