It seemed to me as if the reflections and details in the window floated around this lady like visual symbols of her thoughts as she sent a message on her phone.
thought I would take a leaf out of Janet's book and do the gardening wearing a short floaty skirt.
So just as I walked down the stars past the living room where my daughter was sitting I heard a her voice saying. "what are you are wearing? you're not twelve!" I said" I need to wear socks with these shoes"
Her eyes rolled and she said "you and mum are as bad as each other she dresses like a twelve year too"
I scuttled off into the garden like a scalded child lol.
Have to say not really my kind of look but it was fun mowing the grass like this and then sitting in the sun for a short while. so nice to relax after the week we have just had. Really have got to get away from wearing yellow.
If you're lazy or don't have the time, just read the bold.
I have so many thoughts and ideas bouncing around in my head right now, and by uploading this photo and writing in this little apricot-colored box, I am attempting to clear it.
First, I need to write a little about my 365 project, just so I can vent a little. I'm at a point in the project where I'm having some trouble being creative and where taking photos everyday is slowly becoming a chore. I really hate that and I'm fighting against it as much as possible. Don't take this the wrong way; I am not at all thinking of quitting or anything like that. I've gotten so far and I don't want to give up now. I just can't wait for the day when my stream will be free of photos I don't like, free of last-minute endeavors of coming up with something creative or acceptable. I guess that's really what this project is about - growth and determination in the face of forcing yourself to be creative and different every single day.
Speaking of growth, I was looking at Shae's 365 photo for today and read that she is thinking of getting a film camera. For some reason, that immediately lit a spark in me and I was completely enraptured with the idea of getting my own film camera in the very near future. I was looking at Pentax k-1000's on ebay when I remembered my mom's old film Canon rebel that she never uses and keeps in her closet. I pulled it out and started messing with it, then just decided to stow it in my closet since she doesn't care and I think I might end up loving it. So just be prepared flickr, you may eventually see some film on here. :)
Also, I have really been wanting to say this for a long time: THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON FLICKR. You guys inspire me and help me keep my head above the water.
And lastly, I have been contemplating changing my flickr name. I would feel bad for confusing everyone, but I might really enjoy doing something fresh and different, and to me my name is starting to feel stale. What do you think?
I told you my thoughts, now you tell me yours.

Thought the embroidery pattern would go with my moccasins, fleecy lined flat's perfect for the winter
I'm really proud of this photo. A year ago, around this time, this entire edit would have been so foreign to me. I did something similar to this, except a lot crappier and amateur. It makes me really happy that in such a short amount of time I can grow so much as both a photographer and an editor. I hope you like it.
I saw these Canadian Coast Guard ships when on my walk the other day. They were really far away so I tried to zoom in on them. It was towards the end of the day and cloudy but I thought I would upload them anyways.

You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.

She asked me to make blood come out of her eyes when she posed for this shot but I just couldn't do it to her :)

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I thought I would do the suntan pantyhose thing today! I'm happy I did because these pantyhose feel so good!
I am in a constant dilemma. Will i continue using analogue gear..or not and move completely to digital. It is a question of time and money.
The fun of analogue is here, the fun of digital is also here. But i cannot invest money in both so a decision has to be made in the (near) future.
ow btw press 'L' please, much better on black ;-)
