At the Skechers store in the Paprihaven mall...
Shampoo: "Ooohh, I like this look!"
Lulu: "They're so CUTE! We have a pair this size with a different style of-"
Shampoo: "No, no! This is it! I'm gonna be bee-boppin and hoppin all over the mall in these!"
Lulu: *giggles* "Okay, then! You're totes dorables!!"
There are few things as satisfying as finding the perfect pair of shoes.

Happy Wednesday to everybody!
This will be the last photo of "Across The Fields". I hope you enjoyed watching. I have to say, that this is my favorite one ;). Just love the emotions in that one. Everything fits so well together. Her smile, her move, the grain....
Have a nice day friends ;)

Hi Friends,
the summer in Berlin reached its zenith. Up to 40 degrees. That´s really insane. But it´s the best weather for taking some equipment, meeting some friends and going to a lake, shooting some pics and cool down in the water.
Enjoy the weather and the summer!
Regards, Marcus

Hi guys!
I´m so proud of this upcoming series! As you might know, I visited one of my best friends in Australia. Nobody else than Kiki Vermillion. Actually we intended to watch penguins on Phillipp Island this night but the we didn´t like the ambience their. Lots of tourists everywhere... so we decided to drive further to the cliff coast and take some photos. The sun was setting and was an incredible mood and light. We took more than 300 photos in about 20minutes and it was just great! I´m still impressed of the results! But decide on your own ;)
Stay tuned and enjoy ;)
Regards, Marcus

Hello my Flickr Friends,
unfortunately I don´t really have much time to upload some new stuff. I´m still shooting but the most of the pictures are not going online here because of less time. BUT if you want to be updated just follow me on Instagram @exploring89 ;).
Anyway, couple weeks ago I had a great weekend with some friends. We hung out together and after a very crazy party night we decided to make some photos. And here are the first results. The series is inspired by the song of Marc Cohn " Walking in Memphis". This was the song we listened to the whole weekend.
In my opinion these are one of the best photographs that I took this year. It´s so inspiring to me when I watch them.
Enjoy your Sunday!

This shot is straight out of the camera, no cropping, no nothing. As you can see, this shot was from a set I took today, behind me is the back of a couch with a fuzzy blanket draped over it.... yeah, my "studio" is pretty serious.... oh and the light is coming in from a double sliding glass door in front of me.... When I edit photos taken here I have to clone up the blanket in PS to create a seamless background....
In case any of you wanted to know!

Happy Friday!

Happy Sunday friends!
Today a new face for you. Last weekend I shot some making of pics for a good friend of mine. But some of them were so good, that I just had to use them for my portfolio ;).
This is Maika and she wants to establish a fashion blog. She is designing her own t-shirts (sadly just for women). I´m really looking forward to seeing some of her stuff. I´d really like to show you her website but it´s all at the beginning and not finish yet.
Have a nice Sunday and stay tuned!
Best regards, Marcus

Recent discoveries of the first dinosaur fossils in Scotland were from the Jurassic rocks of Staffin in the Isle of Skye Area of Scotland.
Spectacular seabirds can be seen flying in and out of these vast ancient rocks, some of which are the Fulmar and the Kittiwake who nest among the cliffs below. Others, like the gannet, a summer visitor travel here to feed from as far away as Sula Sgeir, the Flannan Islands.
Last year I visited a good friend in Australia. We made a road trip and spent some days in the grampians camping. My Leica Q was with me and I´d like to share some pics with you.

Another year has past.
I never thought I would have ever done a 365days project a few years ago, let alone two years of it, but it has helped me grow in so many ways. The reason I decided to start the second year of this project was because I could just feel that so many things in my life were about to drastically change, and I was very right.
In the past year I have felt the highest of highs and the lowest of lows – it's been an emotional roller coaster that's for sure. I have made it through 6 months of long-distance relationship; packing up my life I had created for myself in Ann Arbor and moved across the country (with two cats) to Los Angeles to be with the love of my life; got laid off from my design job after over three years of being there; left good friends behind along with our families; made new friends along the way; planned our wedding; got married :); celebrated our best friends wedding; learned how to play d&d and actually got into it; got my new D300s!; battled with myself over getting a job and designing my portfolio; and I am continuously trying to find out who I am and who I want to be.
I did find this year was a little harder than the first, trying to keep up the creativeness while being down isn't the easiest of tasks... but thanks to my loving husband who was always there to listen to me rant and complain about it but he also provided ideas and inspirations that helped me make it though :)
I just want to thank all of you for following my life and journey though these pictures, all the comments and support really mean a lot to me and you all gave me the strength to keep it up and not miss a day... plus I knew if I did you'd all give me crap for it :) lol. But really, thank you!
I don't know what the future holds, it's still a bit fuzzy for me, but I do know that I have a lot to look forward to. :)
xoxo, Jill
