I started experimenting with intentional camera movement.

Feeling a bit artistic today!
We are located at 1014 River Road and are the home of true "Calabash Style" cooking - the old fashioned way. Beck's Restaurant was founded in 1940 by one of the sisters that originally created that famous style of preparing fresh caught seafood that we call "Calabash Style". Beck's Restaurant has been passed down through the generations and is still owned and operated by the same family and continues to serve up the finest seafood on the coast while maintaining the original Calabash Style.
My story of Beck's is almost just as personal...my grandparents, who moved to Tennessee in the 1940's from North Carolina when my father was just a child, used to vacation in the North Myrtle Beach / Calabash area on a yearly basis. And, when they were on vacation in this area, Beck's Calabash Seafood was always on the short list of restaurants to visit at least once but more frequently was the norm. Fast forward to the late 1970's and I am now a child who went on vacation with my parents & grandparents and Beck's is still a must visit for dinner. Finally, fast forward again to 2025. My wife and I are plan a vacation in the Carolina's which includes Myrtle Beach and while we are there, I start getting text messages from my dad about where my grandparents used to eat at such while they were visiting. He even sent photos of their sign and a menu from many years past. So, just out of curiosity, I check to see if any are still around and here we are...we had lunch at Beck's on this day and it was perfectly delicious! There was shrimp, stuffed crab, fish, fries & hushpuppies, and slaw...an amazing meal in a place visited by my grandparents generations before! If you're ever in the area, check them out...you won't be disappointed!!
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

I´m working on a new series of photographs, exploring freedom and it´s possibilities to co-exist with our modern society. No one can break free from their circumstances, and yet we´re constantly reminded that we alone stand responsible for our own happiness.
Is it possible to be a free thinking individual, making choices based upon our inner desires, in a world where dreams are advertised as goods to buy?

Cuando me llego un mensaje de texto a mi movil ayer diciendo que michael jackson murio lo primero que pregunte es que si era el dia de los inocentes por que realmente no lo queria creer ni cuando lo vi en cnn.Soy fan de michael desde que tengo uso de razon es muy dificil que exista una persona en el planeta que no sepa quien es michael jackson es la persona mas famosa sin ser un maldito terrorista ni tener un gran cargo politico es el famoso por todo lo que hiso hay personas que les importa un pito quien fue michael simplemente dicen ese pedofilo sin saber si es cierto esto lo que si es cierto es que es el artista que a donado mas dinero en el mundo.
