Cuando me llego un mensaje de texto a mi movil ayer diciendo que michael jackson murio lo primero que pregunte es que si era el dia de los inocentes por que realmente no lo queria creer ni cuando lo vi en cnn.Soy fan de michael desde que tengo uso de razon es muy dificil que exista una persona en el planeta que no sepa quien es michael jackson es la persona mas famosa sin ser un maldito terrorista ni tener un gran cargo politico es el famoso por todo lo que hiso hay personas que les importa un pito quien fue michael simplemente dicen ese pedofilo sin saber si es cierto esto lo que si es cierto es que es el artista que a donado mas dinero en el mundo.

Good evening to all of you!
I want to show you some of my last work. It was a very spontaneous shooting on Dec.31st last year. I spent my new years eve with my best friends in Rostock - Germany. After having breakfast we had the idea to shoot some pictures. Her boyfriend went to work and we did a brainstorming to get some ideas of what we could do. The idea was: Getting up on a sunday noon, after partying all night long, making some coffee to start the day. That´s the first result. Soon more of this series ;).

two weeks ago I met this amazing woman. Kiki Vermillion. She´s a famous model based in Berlin - Germany. We had planned a backlight shooting but as we reached our location the sun has almost gone down ´cause we completely forgot the time by talking so much. The shooting was really cool and we used to have a lot of fun. Thank you Kiki for this afternoon and also a big "Thank You" to Bear Swagger for the clothes ;)

Michael Jackson August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009, known as the King of Pop, was an American musician and one of the most successful and influential entertainers of all time. His unique contributions to music and dance, along with a highly publicized personal life, made him a prominent figure in popular culture for four decades. Always many people stop to look at the window of Adrian Menswear on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam center. A photo taken in 1977 by Claude Vanheye. Michael Jackson is 19 year old. A photo shoot in the center of Amsterdam without managers and body guards.
A snapshot photo taken of the window of Adrian Menswear, Prinsengracht 130A - Amsterdam. I did get permission to take this photo of Michael Jackson below. I grow up with all the great songs of Michael Jackson. In 1977 I was going school near this place. By that time Michael wasn't yet followed by Managers and body guards. A time where he just could wander around in Amsterdam taken photos himself together with photographer Claude Verheye.
Altijd veel bekijks bij herenkleding Adrian Menswear op de Prinsengracht 130/A in de Jordaan - Amsterdam. Voor het eerst was Michael in ons land in 1977 toen The Jacksons optraden in het populaire muziekprogramma AVRO's Toppop. Alle grote sterren heb ik hier in de Jordaan voor de lens gehad, zegt fotograaf/ontwerper Claude Vanheye die in de jaren zeventig zijn studio’s in de Hazenstraat had. ‘Hier achter de Turksche Keizers Poort in de Hazenstraat 10-12 kwamen zowel de zangers van het Hollandse levenslied als alle grote buitenlandse popsterren.’ Ruim dertig jaar geleden maakte Claude daar foto’s, soms op straat, van onder anderen Michael Jackson, ‘toen het kleine broertje van de Jacksons en nog lang niet de King of Pop’. Op deze foto uit 1977 de latere King of Pop Michael Jackson die onlangs overleed aan een overdosis van het narcosemiddel Propofol.
Dat kon toen nog gewoon in de Hazenstraat zonder bodyguards en zonder managers. In die jaren kon je een stoet van bekende Nederlanders vrijwel dagelijks door de Hazenstraat zien lopen: Willy en Willeke Wlberti, Johnny Jordaan, Mary Servaes (de Zangeres zonder Naam), Corry Konings, Cats, George Baker Selection, Jan Akkerman, Thijs van Leer, Golden Earring, Herman Brood & his Wild Romance, Robert Long, Patricia Paaij, Anita Meijer, Margriet Eshuis, Lenny Kuhr, Benny Neijman en Rob de Nijs, maar ook Boudewijn de Groot, Koot en Bie, Bram Vermeulen, Freek de Jonge en André van Duin. Hetzelfde gold voor vele buitenlanders: George Harrison, Ringo Star, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Frank Zappa, Steve Winwood, Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder, Roxy Music, Alice Cooper, Steven Tyler, Beach Boys, Patty Smith, Patty Labelle, Marianne Faithfull, Blondie,Chi Coltrane, Chaka Khan, Grace Jones en vrijwel iedereen die in de popmuziek beroemd was of toen op het punt stond dat te worden. Claude Vanheye fotografeert niet alleen, maar is ook stylist en ontwerper. Hij kleedde zijn modellen aan met schoenen en al. ‘Ze kwamen ongeveer bloot binnen en ik verzorgde kledingstyling, visagie en de grafische vormgeving.’ Daaruit ontstond een jarenlange samenwerking met modeontwerpers als Frank Govers, Fong Leng, Nico Verhey, Thierry Mugler, Kansai Yamamoto en Carla V. En met schoenenontwerper Jan Jansen. Op die manier ontwikkelde hij het complete imago van de artiest of de groep. ‘Zo deden wij bijvoorbeeld de hele styling van Luv’, Labelle, Sister Sledge, Fiona Willis, Latoya Jackson en Clout.’ Hij stak Kate Bush in een galajurk van Fong Leng en fotografeerde haar wandelend met een krokodil aan een touw in de Parkeergarage op de Marnixstraat.’
Claude Vanheye zoekt een grote studioruimte in de Jordaan om een ‘Studio Academy
& Gallery’ op te zetten. Hij is daarom op zoek naar een hoge werkruimte van 300 tot 500 m2. Wie hem de ideale ruimte zal verschaffen, kan rekenen op een serie unieke, ingelijste en gesigneerde foto’s uit Caude’s internationale Magic Rockstars Collection, én exclusieve, door Claude Vanheye te maken portretten, E-mail claudephoto@msn.com. I’ve always loved the ‘it’ girl, Clara Bow. TCM is showing one of her most outrageous talkies for the first time in years, CALL HER SAVAGE, from 1932. It’s airing tonight, 10/13, 8pm, EST. I can’t imagine what audiences must have thought about it back in the day. Here’s hoping that it’s a decent print. The portrait of Clara Bow is by Eugene Robert Richee, not as well-known as Hollywood photographers, Bull and Hurrell, but a master in his own right.
yep... got married yesterday. a small, casual little to do at the beach. some would say its about time.. considering our kiddo is almost 8.
and of course, it wouldn't be quite right unless i was having issues with my camera. but ya know... photos aren't everything. so this one is a bit blurry, and i wish i had noticed those folks haning out back there (chimping no less.. he he) .. but i still love it. represents the day.. and i think it is super cool you can see my bouquet.

THIS IS IT! These are the last glimpses (for me anyway) of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS.
I captured the comet as it glowed (slightly dimmer than last night) over the mouth of Paine's Creek on Cape Cod Bay. This is only the second night of clear skies in the last four days since the comet rounded the sun. Tonight, I am likely getting my last glimpses of this beautiful visitor.

Hey Friends,
got some new stuff for you. Two weeks ago I met up with this beautiful woman and had a short home shooting. It was her first time in front of a camera and she did a really good job. Like she never did something else :).
Why I named it his way:
Well, it´s not of my best shots ever. The drying rack and the carpet on the right is everything else than "perfect". It distracts from the model and fits not quiet well in this scenario. BUT I chose this picture because I just love the way she looks. Her posing and the point of view is exactly what I had in my mind. And for me the drying rack and the carpet is not that annoying as long as everything else is perfect. What I want to say is, not every picture must be almost perfect. For me, the atmosphere is one of the most important things. That´s the reason why I named it the "Perfect Imperfection".

This was it, my first buffalo of the trip and I saw him just as I entered Bad Lands National Park, Wall, South Dakota
Buffalo in the American West have roamed the prairies for centuries and lived in harmony with American Indians who hunted only what they needed. Then in the late 19th century they were slaughtered almost to extinction both to remove competition for grasslands for cattle brought by settlers and to contribute to the reduction in the Indian population since buffalo was the main protein source for their diet. The Lakota word for buffalo is tatanka.
