I think I'm going to have to find another tree for these Zenith shots ... critics might begin to regard the repeat appearances of this old aspen tree as some kind of failure of imagination on the aurora paparazzi's part ...

Not a whole lot of variability in scenery around my place here ... just Spruce and Pine, and more Spruce and Pine ...

I think the people of Smirisary found it. There, they live in total isolation. No roads. No electricity. An amazing view out over the ocean towards the islands of Eigg and Rum, and to the right, Skye.

I was disturbed, once, by a high flying jet on its way towards the sun, a transatlantic airliner probably. And by a few midges. No, I'm not on holiday: I live here.

This plant was still flowering in Octobre, I think it is Monkshood, but I'am not sure.

Its not edited lol. But Heres the thing i did.

I knew there would be lots of flowers for this challenge. My options were limited this week so a quick capture of these pretties it was :)

ELS 501 rolls south near Beecher Wisconsin after swapping trains with the Channing crew at Pembine. Temps are in the mid 40s with steady rain and thick rolling fog on this mid March day. The 501 is a former Milwuakee Road unit and is right at home on the former Milwaukee Road mainline to Green Bay.

I think that you can all tell that I am in a philosophical mood these days. There are so many complications in life that we, the people, have to solve and surely at the forefront is our inability to let go of the negative forces and embrace the positive ones. It is time for us to collectively come up with good reasons to work together for the better for ALL. In the long run, selfishness does not gain us anything, in fact we lose! Let's find ways to help one another, make the world a smaller place in which all are welcome. It is possible, we can and must do it!!!

I saw her a few months ago and she looked very unwell, with sore patches on her tummy and chest. Today her chest looked a lot better, but I couldn't see her tummy. She seems to live around where she's lying, but I'm not sure if she's looked after very well. I'd take her home, if I had the space, poor darling.

This is a Tea Plantation in Tanah Rata, Malaysia. It wasn't the perfect day to visit it but in the end the clouds gave a nice dramatic sky for this picture.
