Bokeh - "Presenting...Christmas Bokeh! Ta-Dah!!"
In my own words, 'a photo without bokeh is like a day without sunshine'.
Ha ha - I love bokeh and I work hard at it, trying to get it just right; the subject in the forefront sharp while the subject in the background, the bokeh, sharp enough to not be a blur but just defined enough that I can tell what it is. I am not always successful but I have fun trying.
These little elves represent a dear memory for me; my sister Sandra gave them to me when I was about eight years old. They come out of their protective wrapping every year and remarkably, they are in perfect condition.

Took a few photos of Neil for the Leeds Group's THEME OF THE WEEK: PORTRAITS.
I don't really 'do' portraits... mainly because the only people I come across on a day-to-day basis are my husband and my pupils!!! Can't really do the latter!!!
Love TOTW for this reason... "made" me go off and think.
There's 4 here and I'm not really too sure if they're any good. But I'm happy with the 2 I've posted into the TOTW thread.
Hollywood theme cake
The brief for this fab cake was "Apartments overlooking Hollywood Hills with the Hollywood sign, girl sat on bench with boy proposing, lady walking her dog, and a duck pond"....and here we have it!
More than 25 primary and special schools across west Cheshire have taken part in the Conway Centres 11th annual Entitlement Project ‘The Olympics’, culminating in an art exhibition.
The project provided an opportunity for young people to work with local artists for two days, culminating in an exhibition which was designed to emphasise a child’s entitlement to a rich art and design experience.
