I was a bit undecided with the post processing (if any) I'd perform on this. I spent 30 mins going around in circles. To me this is an indication to go back to basics, so I applied a simple blue hue layer at 80% to give a slightly metallic finish which I liked. Sometimes less is more.
Enjoy.
Sometimes I receive e-mails from my sweet customers with photos of how my framed prints look on their walls. And it totally makes my day!
Here are photos of a gorgeous woodland themed nursery designed by Kelsey in US. She says: "Everything started with some paintings I had in my nursery when I was little. They were painted by my aunt on small pieces of wood. We didn't know if we were having a boy or girl so the woodland nursery was a neutral choice. We had a boy! He is our first. I had a lot of fun putting some finishing touches on the nursery once he arrived - like the white antlers!"
Isn't this nursery gorgeous?! Full of cute details! And her aunt’s work is adorable! My Fox must be really happy living among all those beauties!
Thank you Kelsey!
The theme for this week's photo is "the earth". I wasn't too sure what route to take with this theme as it felt, to me, more like the earth as the planet we live on rather than actual earth (like soil). If I were going on a plane this week I could have taken a photo looking down to earth. The best I could come up with is this really old, twisted tree, which looks like it's trying to return to the earth! It's actually got a couple of supports to hold some of its limbs up.
A while ago I had the pleasure of working with Leanne McGuire who was doing a gremlin themed shoot for her collage.
It was great to work with her and her friends.

To All My Flickr Friends:
My sincere apologies for missing in action for so long in Flickr.
I'm sorry for not returning the favor for your wonderful comments or late in replying your message.
And to those who had messaged me to inquire about my welfare, my sincere thanks for your concern.
Am way too busy recently for Flickr & blogging too.
Been packing, moving home, unpacking, tidy up & settling down.
Also got a new job with new tasks to learn during those period.
At the same time, I'd done many modeling events & training/rehearses for up-coming shows.
Had taken many pics, but no time to edit & upload to Flickr.
Currently, I'm still not up to pace online yet.
Please pardon me if I'm somewhat slowly in responding.
Hopefully, I will continue the action in Flickr soon.
Thank you for your patience, dear friends.
The theme of last month's Fashion Fetish event was '40s pin-up as voted for by Good for Party's readers and let me just say to all the readers who did vote: you couldn't have picked a better theme! Our stylists (Anna Lee Jackson & Kelly Moriarty of Studio 110) and photographer (Richard Pack, dickyp.com) made it all look so easy; capturing the sultry vixen look so prevalent in the '40s with perfect up-do's, red lips and spotlight lighting. Impromptu vignettes topped the night off as the girls showed off their gams, played the piano and made boys feel like real gentlemen (by letting them buy them a martini or two, of course). For all you fashion savvy and fashion loving ladies and gentlemen; make sure you stayed tuned to the Good for Party Network- it's the only way to know of the truly avant fashion and music events worth going to in this great city- period.
