Today's theme was emotion and extra challenge to not show my face. I used a lamp on the stair and my tripod with one leg longer on the step below. There really wasn't any room to get past the camera and every time I went to preview the image through the viewfinder I was so scared of knocking the camera down the stairs! Luckily it didn't budge, phew!

So ladies this week you had a chance to be on a cover of vogue and a spread also ,the photos were great but i feel disappointed i guess i expected much more from you guys.

THETE- you got best because you had the most believable cover and spread of all.
LOU-your cover was ok but your spread was phenomenal
GRACE- your photos were good but needs more spark!
KYORI-like i said more editing on the lighting try doing outdoor shoots again the light is amazing when u do it. Why is that your other photos are amazing and when it comes to the challenge photos its not as good as your other photos in your photostream still you\'re on the top 4.

Staying on the Metroliner theme, towards the end of 1983, MCW launched the 12-metre high floor rear-engined integral Metro Hi-Liner luxury coach. Unlike the orginal single deck Metroliner which was a body on chassis layout, the new model was a true integral. The Metro Hi-Liner was powered by a Cummins LT10 turbocharged diesel engine with two power outputs either 250bhp or 290bhp, transmission options were ZF S6-90 six speed manual gearbox, or Voith automatic gearbox. The Metro Hi-Liner was built to one height of 3360mm and was offered with a wide range of options. Both the National Bus Company and Scottish Bus Group purchased small numbers of Metro Hi- Liner coaches. Here we see, one of two Metro Hi-Liners purchased by Northern Scottish during 1986, this one being C511 SSO, it is seen on Lowther Street in Carlisle having just left the bus station. Notice the none standard Scottish Citylink livery, and the Rapide name, which like the National Express Rapide services will denote it is an upmarket service. The date is August 1987, the service it is working is the Manchester Aberdeen service. The styling of the Hi-Liner looked very European at the time, but the private coach operators stayed away from the Hi-Liner, apart from Premier Travel, who purchased a couple, but soon sold them. MCW was not seen as a coachbuilder, plus their back up was not as good as say that offered by Scania. A few years ago, I had the pleasure of driving this very coach and it was a dream to drive.
Buffet food centred around a train theme to celebrate Dad's birthday. It looks like we bought a take away but I promise it was all home made!! (ok the crisps were bought lol).
I had a little (actually big) project earlier in the year and this little bundle of paper is the last of it!! Off to the accountant it all now goes ~ bye, bye!!

For the past several weeks I've been quite absent from Flickr, and I apologize for my lack of comments! I've had ideas and dreams of starting a blog for over a year, and I've finally been able to put it together! If you have a chance, please take a look and let me know your thoughts.
I have TONS of fun things I'll be posting soon, but I think you'll be able to at least get a general idea from the posts that are up now. One small note is that those of you very familiar with my Flickr photos may recognize some photos from time to time, with either expanded descriptions, recipes, etc. Please bear with those "older" photos and I assure you I'll be posting lots of new work as well!

Our first group theme was a tricky one. I am far more comfortable outside shooting landscapes so it was a good challenge. The large aperture here allowed for some interesting bokeh.
Day One-Hundred and Eighty-Seven, "Family Holidays" theme, sixth shot.
Sixth day of the "Family Holidays" theme, it's time to hit the road, and luckily Agata loves road trips. Claudia and I have a scheduled job and therefore we were forced to leave the mountains even though we enjoyed our time there so much. Once the job is done, however, we'll head to the seaside for a few more days of family holidays. Neither sand nor salt water will stop me from taking some more shots of Agata enjoying her time with us…
