A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination.
Quote by Nelson Mandela
Yes, this year in our large kitchen, the theme is ALL HEARTS... lol.
So, a heart-given image.
In many countries, it is quite traditional to have handmade and woven decorations in white and red, silver and gold...
I have shoots where they give me things to photograph and never want it back, that means I can do my free photography when I have time, and after that, it goes to the charity shop.
Sprinkle a bit of festive angle-dust around you, you'll feel great!
Don't ever let the child in you die!
I wish you all the very best, and thanx for all your kind words, time, comments and faves. Very much appreciated.

The first blossoms of the spring bring joy and happiness. The forsythia bush's early yellow blossoms bring smiles to the faces of many. Yellow is the color of sunshine. It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.
Have a Happy MacroMonday!

The 'London Eye (Millennium Wheel) at a height of 135 metres (443 ft), is the biggest Ferris wheel in Europe, and has become the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over 3 million people a year. At the time it was erected it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160m) in May 2006, and then the Singapore Flyer (165m) on February 11, 2008. However, it is still described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel" (because the entire structure is supported by an A-frame on one side only)
The first thing popped on my mind was, Deepavali ! So we rushed to Penang Little India and almost all participants were there looking for the subject to shoot. Like other Little India in Malaysia, the place are happening and people were friendly and happily allowed when I asked their permission to take their picture. I've got a lot of pictures here.. As usual... my style...STREET.
This building is next to the Corn Exchange building I posted yesterday. I've tried to find out the history of it without success. It now houses several flats.

Wedding cupcakes for a 4th birthday! I have a four-year-old myself and she also loves princesses and brides.
Likely the only pictures of my SHIPtember build for this year. I got to work on this for a weekend last week, but I think I'm not gonna be able to get home and finish it anywhere close to the end of the month.
My first cupcakes in years!! The rainbow effect was done by dividing and coloring the cake batter with gel food coloring and adding small amounts of each to the mini cupcake cups. I made Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. Special thanks to Cyndi (IndulgeDesserts) and Glory (GloriousTreats) for recipes!
Sporting seasonal decorations for the park's Christmas trains, Edaville Family Theme Park's excursion train makes its way around the southern shore of Atwood Reservoir in South Carver, MA, with both Monson #3 and Edaville #11 double heading a large passenger train. The train is pictured passing the little beach at Rattlesnake Curve. Back in the 1960s and 70s, this location was called "Cranberry Lake Park." After 2005, this trackage was bypassed when the original, 5.5-mile loop was replaced with a newer, 2-mile circuit. Today, only special trains ever come here.
100 x 2024, Theme Studio Botany: image 45/100
The pagoda dogwood, Cornus stolonifera, is an elegant native shrub but difficult to photograph because it lives in dappled shady understory of the woods. It's a good reason to include it in my studio botany project.

this was originally a dark-green overcoat from BCS watson.
but i kind of hate dark green. so...
i rinsed it and bleached it while still wet, which may have been what made the irregular patterns.
decided they looked cool, so i washed and dried it thoroughly to make sure all the bleach was out, then drew flames and so on with fabric markers.
...
just realised i could use this for the jacket challenge :D
theme: on white :)
facing the window..
used one of my favorite Lightroom presets "Color Creative - Color CP 3" to give some blue shades.
1. Arizona summers make me wilt, but they make wildflowers like the Golden Poppy very happy. I chose this pattern because I think summertime=flowers & bright colors.
2. This pattern can be found in the Hoop Love and Vintage Embroidery Pattern groups. Shared by niccivale, www.flickr.com/photos/luckypalm/6873590453/in/photostream/
