This is one of the analog 35mm shots from a 12 hour photomarathon I did a month back. There was a showing last week where all the participants came together along with almost 300 other peaople to look at the shots.
Good fun... I'm looking forward to next years marathon.
Thank you for your attention.

A 'Sailor Moon' themed cake with a gumpaste doll of Serena/Usagi (the main character). I was really upset about her legs (fearing that they might fall apart) but everything was fine in the end.
Um bolo com tema "Sailor Moon", com uma boneca de pasta americana de Serena/Usagi (a personagem principal do desenho). Estava preocupada com as pernas, temendo que elas pudessem quebrar. Mas no final das contas, tudo deu certo.

"The idea is that you choose one of your favourite photographers and be inspired by him or her. Either recreate one of his or her pictures or produce your own image in the style of the photographer. "
I've been liking the cinematic style recently and follow a couple of New York based photographers who produce great photographs of their city in this style. So I wanted to take the cinematic style and add a little of myself.
I work nightshifts sometimes and as a result I get to see London when it is quieter. I like watching it, particularly from this vantage point, but I thought I'd cast myself as a bit of a ghost because no one really knows I'm there.
This is all one shot, a 6 second exposure with me only in frame for half of the time. No photoshop trickery here.
Here's an example from Andrew Mohrer:

For our 'Fire & Smoke' project a few autumns ago, I thought I would re-create our open fire with natural products. Worked well.
Exploring archives, i've found this shooting for the local arabic restaraunt. Not so creative or conceptual, but there was several interesting lighting ideas.
Lamp picture:
SB-80 DX with Cybersync and double CTO inside the lamp. SB-800 into Beauty Dish and red filter from the left, and another SB-800 into Apollo softbox 28'' from the right (you can see it). Can't remember exactly, but looks likes there was fill light at the model from the left.
Hookah picture:
Apollo softbox 28'' on background was moved to the left. I've placed two CTB bare flashes as kicker from the left and right (and above). Fill light from the front of the model.
Flashes were triggered by Wireless remote SU-800 and Cybersyncs. Its kinda tricky without radiopoppers, but still possible. Interior shots allows IR signal to bounce off the walls, and reaching flashes even behind obstacles.
It's so amazing to appreciate such a magnificent waterfall during night time... Although such fantastic color combination resulted from long exposure, it's gonna be my lively remembrance of Niagara Falls at night!!

Driving down the Pacific coastal road I could go wild with drawing signs, but, alas - other passengers never have the patience to wait. Today, I was lucky: a quick "Churchill (a fabulous shake) stop" at POPS ice-cream parlour in Jaco - and I had 10 minutes in the car for sketching. In the car because of 35c outside. In the view this fire red semi-industrial building, I don't know who gave permission for such a structure in a beach resort... Unsurprisingly, it's for sale.

Hopefully an ongoing project that I'll be working on, which is creating Hero Factory set concepts. All parts are created digitally using CAD software, so technically the custom pieces could be produced in reality, as I've tried to ensure they have sensible shapes and thicknesses.
You can read more and find other figures (in the future) here.

The 'London Eye (Millennium Wheel) at a height of 135 metres (443 ft), is the biggest Ferris wheel in Europe, and has become the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over 3 million people a year. At the time it was erected it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160m) in May 2006, and then the Singapore Flyer (165m) on February 11, 2008. However, it is still described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel" (because the entire structure is supported by an A-frame on one side only)
