Our first group theme was a tricky one. I am far more comfortable outside shooting landscapes so it was a good challenge. The large aperture here allowed for some interesting bokeh.

Made for a golfers 50th birthday. I'm making the couples wedding cake next week which will also have a golfing theme.
White Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. Army themed scene using washed toys on loan from the Birthday boy himself!

Another one of my theme based competition entries (outside of Flickr). Came 15th out of 89.
Not much PP. Light : Outdoor Daylight (morning). The champagne glass, cork screw, some water was lying on a side table in my balcony - hangover from the night before :-). The glass has a light 'ink blue' graduated tint, the stem though green, grows over the glass - hence the blue shade/outline. Background: Tinted glass shutter - with some reflection, kinda had a 360 deg ambient light + dark background. The white may seem a bit bright on some monitors, this seemed appropriate in bringing out the steely effect of the cork screw. Hope you enjoy this.
