Day 6 of RebelLUG's Vignweek contest 2025.

The theme was "Reclamed by nature"

Build a scene where nature is overtaking. The build can be historical, modern, sci-fi, etc, but nature must be significantly overgrowing the location.

Ever imagined a cyberpunk city flooded and covered in plants by daylight, that's exactly what's the Urban Jungle style looks like. I must say, I LOVE that esthetism, it will certainly not be the last moc of that style. I really like cyberpunk style even if it's quite hard to achieve but having vegetation and water in a futuristic city, it's all I like.

I took so much fun doing, you have no ideas, all those little details, using awesome parts I don't usually use like that antenna that I always wanted to include (it costs a lot by the way).

As I didn't have enough time to take proper picture and that Vignweek is about... Vignette, for the contest I shot a vignette but I feel it doesnt give justice so I did multiple immersive scene and I must say, they look wonderful! I love that and the building in the back are adding so much.

Really awesome moc that I really enjoyed doing as much as participating to Vignweek, so cool and I feel I learnt so much things.

this was originally a dark-green overcoat from BCS watson.

but i kind of hate dark green. so...

i rinsed it and bleached it while still wet, which may have been what made the irregular patterns.

decided they looked cool, so i washed and dried it thoroughly to make sure all the bleach was out, then drew flames and so on with fabric markers.

...

just realised i could use this for the jacket challenge :D

I know I always say they are rushed......but.....I was up all hours doing these as the pick up was for Sunday by the customers friend, but I didn't find out until midnight Sat (last night) that she wanted them 10am this morning!!.

So I started them at midnight last night!! (the decorations that is...they were already baked luckily).

A tube themed customised bike on dispay - the road legal bike was ridden to the display spot. The chasis being modified and lengthened with a regular tube frame theme, the bike looks minimal and radical as the riding position is lowered. It suit a person of short legs and long arm.

Space Mountain is an indoor, outer space-themed, steel roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom theme park in the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Opened on January 15, 1975, Space Mountain is the oldest operating roller coaster in the state of Florida, and is the original version of the iconic attraction that has since been replicated at all of The Walt Disney Company's Magic Kingdom-style theme parks worldwide.

Walt Disney originally conceived the idea of a space-themed roller coaster for Disneyland following the success of the Matterhorn Bobsleds, which opened in 1959. However, a number of technological limitations and the Disney company's focus on building what would become Walt Disney World led to the project's postponement in the late 1960s. After the early success of the Magic Kingdom park in the early 1970s, the Disney company started looking to build its first thrill ride at the Magic Kingdom. Disney decided that a duplicate of Disneyland's Matterhorn was not feasible at the Magic Kingdom, and instead opted to re-visit the Space Mountain project. Advances in technology since the project's postponement made Space Mountain more feasible, and the ride opened in 1975.

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Bonus Theme - The End

Endings are often bittersweet, and the end of A-Z 2.0 is no exception. It has been an incredible journey with so many creative and inspiring photos submitted to this doll group. Although this theme is not a letter of the alphabet, it is an opportunity for those who joined the group late and for those who simply wish the cycle wasn’t ending to create one last photo. This theme is all about showing us an "ending." Has your doll just finished watching a movie and the credits are displayed on the TV screen? Maybe your dolls are Broadway cast members and they are taking bows after the final act of their performance. Or perhaps an empty wine glass is on a table because your doll has finished her glass of rosé at an intimate dinner. How you approach this theme is entirely up to you. Just be sure we get a sense that something is ending or coming to a close in your photo.

Yes, this year in our large kitchen, the theme is ALL HEARTS... lol.

In many countries, it is quite traditional to have handmade and woven decorations in white and red, silver and gold...

I have shoots where they give me things to photograph and never want it back, that means I can do my free photography when I have time, and after that, it goes to the charity shop.

Sprinkle a bit of festive angle-dust around you, you'll feel great!
