My sincere apologies for missing in action for so long in Flickr.
I'm sorry for not returning the favor for your wonderful comments or late in replying your message.
And to those who had messaged me to inquire about my welfare, my sincere thanks for your concern.
Am way too busy recently for Flickr & blogging too.
Been packing, moving home, unpacking, tidy up & settling down.
Also got a new job with new tasks to learn during those period.
At the same time, I'd done many modeling events & training/rehearses for up-coming shows.
Had taken many pics, but no time to edit & upload to Flickr.
Currently, I'm still not up to pace online yet.
Please pardon me if I'm somewhat slowly in responding.
Hopefully, I will continue the action in Flickr soon.

Still having fun manipulating images with lightroom, so I've decided to revisit some of the images with Georgi from our photoshoots last year. And to start with, Georgi outside in her elegant evening dress and matching necklace.
L'entraînement se poursuit sans relâche : un des thèmes les plus importants concerne les situations d'urgence, auxquelles il faut savoir faire face avec rapidité et précision pour sauver (dans cet ordre) l'équipage, le véhicule, et la mission. Leurs occurences sont excessivement rares, mais elles sont de trois types: un départ de feu feu, une dépressurisation, ou un produit toxique qui se répandrait dans l'ISS. Pour le feu: les matériaux sont ignifugés, l'ISS a des détcteurs de fumée et des réactions automatiques, et bien sûr l'équipage utilise des masques à O2 et des extincteurs (CO2 et eau). Si maintenant l'air venait à quitter nos modules vers le vide de l'extérieur, il convient en premier lieu... de trouver par où la station "fuit" (assez similaire à un sous-marin), puis d'isoler le module affecté ou de réparer le plus rapidement possible. Enfin, un produit toxique en impesanteur serait extrêmement dangereux pour l'équipage, c'est notamment le cas de l'ammoniac concentré du système de refroidissement extérieur. Masques, filtres, pompes, équipements de protection et de communication d'urgence; tout est prévu. La réaction de l'équipage est connue par coeur, basée sur des compétences, ou guidée par des procédures (les livres à la couverture rouge qu'on n'a jamais vraiment envie d'ouvrir :)... en utilisant toutes les ressources humaines disponibles, en équipe, comme dans un avion. Tout cela en coordination la plus étroite possible avec le centre de contrôle qui nous aide précieusement (ici représenté par nos talentueux instructeurs !)
Training is ramping up and one of the most important is what to do in case of emergency. We learn how to react swiftly to save the crew, the spacecraft and the mission (in this order). The three main scenarios we train for, despite being very rare of course are: fire, depressurisation and toxic leak. We have CO2 and water extinguishers on board the International Space Station and of course fire detectors as well as making sure materials are fire resistant. In case of a leak we isolate it by module and repair as quickly as possible. As the Space Station is a closed environment toxic leaks are very serious, we cannot open a window to let fresh air in! Everything is standby to react with if needed: mask, filters, pumps, protection equipment and we learn the procedures by heart.

About this photo:
I know there’s a huge public debate in the US about gun violence and firearms accessibility due to many recent tragic events. It’s truly shocking to me that events like mass school shootings occur and even when I’m trying to stay away from media outlets with this many negative information and reports of the very poor state of the world in general, it’s impossible to avoid them completely. And it resonate, just can’t seem to disappear from my head.
I know our hobby is a peaceful place, a state of mind that should bring us joy and fulfillment only, but I thought I needed to take a stand with my entry for this theme, to maybe provoke thinking, give my opinion. I needed to process those thoughts and take it out of my system. I didn’t want to be grim or to shock just because sake of shocking.
I took an inspiration from the memorable historic events from 1963 when the President John Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas during his and First Lady's, Jacqueline Kennedy car ride. I also had in mind „Jackie” movie with striking creation from brilliant Natalie Portman and it really made a huge impression on me and left me speechless.
So ladies this week you had a chance to be on a cover of vogue and a spread also ,the photos were great but i feel disappointed i guess i expected much more from you guys.

KYORI-like i said more editing on the lighting try doing outdoor shoots again the light is amazing when u do it. Why is that your other photos are amazing and when it comes to the challenge photos its not as good as your other photos in your photostream still you\'re on the top 4.

For the past several weeks I've been quite absent from Flickr, and I apologize for my lack of comments! I've had ideas and dreams of starting a blog for over a year, and I've finally been able to put it together! If you have a chance, please take a look and let me know your thoughts.
I have TONS of fun things I'll be posting soon, but I think you'll be able to at least get a general idea from the posts that are up now. One small note is that those of you very familiar with my Flickr photos may recognize some photos from time to time, with either expanded descriptions, recipes, etc. Please bear with those "older" photos and I assure you I'll be posting lots of new work as well!

Our first group theme was a tricky one. I am far more comfortable outside shooting landscapes so it was a good challenge. The large aperture here allowed for some interesting bokeh.
