Un detall molt interessant de l'església de St. Feliu de la Força d'Àreu és el seu original paviment fet amb codols.
==================
In the restored romanesque church of St. Feliu de la Força d'Àreu, all the floor is covered by this thousand years old pebble pavement. A kind of rustic medieval mosaic.

"Cat! You are surrounded, your feline army decimated. Make peace with the Force now, for this is your final hour. But know that I, General Grievous, am not completely without mercy. I will grant you a warrior's death. Prepare!"
full darth vader piece. just threw a glorified dub up on this, spent too much time on the character. and to be honest..i havn't drawn up any new letter sketches. need to get on that for summer.

Formerly located within Disney's Hollywood Studios just outside of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction was a gift shop called Tatooine Traders. In the photograph above, you can see the name of the shop and the background with the shop on the right and what appears to be a recreation of Endor or the Forest Moon of Endor (a small forested moon that was the ninth moon that orbited the Outer Rim planet of the same name and was the homeworld of the Ewok's first seen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi). Additionally, you can see the strange looking text above the Tatooine Traders in the standard English alphabet that also spells out Tatooine Traders in Aurebesh, a writing system comprising 34 letters used to transcribe Galactic Basic Standard, the most spoken language in the galaxy. In the Outer Rim Territories, Aurebesh was sometimes used alongside Outer Rim Basic, another alphabet. An Aurebesh-like script first appeared in the 1983 movie Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, the last installment in the original trilogy of Star Wars. It could be seen on the monitor readouts on the second Death Star at the beginning of the movie, when Darth Vader's shuttle is scanned while approaching the battle station. Later, Aurebesh appears many times in subsequent Star Wars movies, television series, and books. The example of this text seen above at Disney is just a perfect example of the level of details included throughout the Disney World parks that add to the overall experience.
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Central Florida
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run - Cold Day!
Hollywood Studios - Orlando, Florida U.S.A.
Winter - Christmas Day - December 25th, 2022
*[left-double-click for a closer-look - Star Wars landscape]
*[Couldn't wait to get back to this cool Star Wars exhibit to get a
'second shot' at this area! The first time was so much fun! Enjoy]
*[We had such a good time at this new Hollywood Studio's exhibit back in Dec/2019 that we came back for the grand opening week of a new 2nd exhibit that they just completed. Unfortunately, many of the exhibits were shut down (including this new one) because it was too cold, the machinery does not operate properly if the outside temp is below 40 degrees, and we were at about 35 degrees! LOL For Florida that is very low! So, I just took all the new exterior shots.
They are pretty cool. Hope you like them. Thank you for looking]

From: 12/15/19
*[The quite-amazing new STAR WARS exhibit opened just ten days
prior (to above) on December 5th, 2019. Since we were in Orlando
for a company holiday-party we checked it out. As expected, it was jammed in the daytime with a 90+ minute wait for the ride. We went back in the evening (with a 35 minute wait) and it was very cool! With everything all lit-up at night it was fantastic and we truly felt
as if we were on the Galaxy's Edge! A must for the Star Wars fan!]
*[We flew the fastest ship in the galaxy
while hurtling through hyperspace! LOL]
*[Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set within the Star Wars universe, at the Black Spire Outpost village on the remote frontier planet of Batuu. Attractions include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, a dark ride that places guests in a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance; and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a flying simulator attraction that allows guests to pilot the Millenium Falcon through a customized secret mission on behalf of Hondo Ohnaka and Chewbacca. Restaurants and shops include Oga's Cantina, Savi's Workshop, and the Droid Depot. The land opened in 2019, replacing the park's Streets of America section. The 14-acre area cost an estimated $1 billion. - Probably why a park-ticket is $159.]
Helmet of a First Order Stormtrooper from 2015's Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awaken's
Taken at Star Wars & the Power of Costume exhibit in Cincinnati, Ohio
The reinforced combat helmet featured an integrated comlink, audio pick-up, two artificial air-supply hoses, and a broadband communications antenna powered by a single power cell. The helmet featured built-in filtration systems that extracted breathable atmosphere from polluted environments. The helmet's visual processor assisted the wearer in seeing in darkness, glare, and smoke, though it limited the wearer's field of vision. When firing a blaster, the helmet's visor polarized against the glare. A built-in heads-up display also provided targeting diagnostics, power levels and environmental readings at the corner of the wearer's eyesight, and one could access data on various military subjects and civilian organizations on the helmets display. In addition, motion sensors alerted the wearer to any enemy the soldier might have missed. Seeking to discourage nonessential chatter which was strictly off-limits while on-duty, stormtrooper helmets recorded everything that was said by the user, sending it to monitors to review after downloading the data off of the armor's memory.

George Lucas's creation of R2-D2 was influenced by Akira Kurosawa's 1958 feature film The Hidden Fortress. Lucas and artist Ralph McQuarrie also drew inspiration from the robots Huey, Dewey, and Louie from Douglas Trumbull's 1972 film Silent Running. This 'concept sketch' was created by McQuarrie in 1975 with red & graphite pencil on vellum and became the basis for R2-D2 (which stands for Second Generation Robotic Droid Series-2).
This photograph was taken at the Star Wars and the Power of Costume exhibit which explores the challenges in dressing the Star Wars universe from the Galactic Senate and royalty to the Jedi, Sith, and Droids. Features of this exhibit included short films that provide a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and included interviews with the designers and actors/actresses. The experience is also enhanced by interactive flip books featuring sketches, photographs, and notes that capture the creative team’s inspiration and vision.
