LOL....I like Star Wars and was pleasantly surprised to find the soldiers on the graffiti here. I also liked the arches through each other.

The Empire Strikes Back

A novel by Donald F. Glut based on a story by George Lucas

First published in Great Britain by Sphere Books Ltd 1980

Cover price: £1.00

From the back cover:

The Empire returns! From a distant galaxy the Imperial forces set forth on a deadly mission to destroy their sworn enemy: Luke Skywalker!

On the icy world that was planet Hoth, Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance found the ideal outpost. A lonely wasteland at the outer reaches of the universe, the perfect setting to conduct their war against the tyranny of the Empire.

OR SO IT SEEMED.

Until Imperial forces, led by their dark warlord, tracked down the Rebel base. And launched a ferocious and devastating attack from space which threatened to destroy the Alliance forever, and send Luke on a desparate mission... with 'the Force' as his sole protection!

A star-blasting spectacular from Lucasfilm, distributed by 20th Century Fox.

On Starkiller Base, Kylo Ren interrogates Rey. He removes his mask and attempts to use the Force to read Rey's mind and see the missing section of the map to Luke Skywalker that BB-8 showed her. Rey is able to force Ren out of her head and even read his mind - she sees his fears at being lesser than Darth Vader. This intrusion shocks the servant of the First Order and he leaves to ask Supreme Leader Snoke for help.

A skittish but loyal astromech, BB-8 accompanied Poe Dameron on many missions for the Resistance, helping keep his X-wing Fighter in working order. When Poe’s mission to Jakku ended with his capture by the First Order, BB-8 fled into the desert with a vital clue to the location of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. The plucky astromech soon became the target of a determined search by the Resistance, the First Order and the galactic underworld.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11

Finn, Rey and BB-8 manage to evade their First Order pursuers on Jakku and make their escape from the planet. An unfortunate First Order Officer is tasked with delivering the news to Kylo Ren onboard the Finalizer. Ren is enraged upon hearing that the defector FN-2187 helped the droid escape, and destroys a nearby computer console. When he hears about Rey, he pulls the officer towards him with the Force and demands to know more about the girl.

Either the force is leaving my body or taking it over. Fingers crossed the latter.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Central Florida - Futuristic!

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run - Very Cold Day!

--- Hollywood Studios - Orlando, Florida U.S.A. ---

Winter - Christmas Day - December 25th, 2022

*[left-double-click for a closer-look - Star Wars Village]

*[Couldn't wait to get back to this cool Star Wars exhibit to get a

'second shot' at this area! The first time was so much fun! Enjoy]

*[We had such a good time at this new Hollywood Studio's exhibit back in Dec/2019 that we came back for the grand opening week of a new 2nd exhibit that they just completed. Unfortunately, many of the exhibits were shut down (including this new one) because it was too cold, the machinery does not operate properly if the outside temp is below 40 degrees, and we were at about 35 degrees! LOL For Florida that is very low! So, I just took all the new exterior shots.

They are pretty cool. Hope you like them. Thank you for looking]

From: 12/15/19

*[The quite-amazing new STAR WARS exhibit opened just ten days

prior (to above) on December 5th, 2019. Since we were in Orlando

for a company holiday-party we checked it out. As expected, it was jammed in the daytime with a 90+ minute wait for the ride. We went back in the evening (with a 35 minute wait) and it was very cool! With everything all lit-up at night it was fantastic and we truly felt

as if we were on the Galaxy's Edge! A must for the Star Wars fan!]

*[We flew the fastest ship in the galaxy

while hurtling through hyperspace! LOL]

*[Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set within the Star Wars universe, at the Black Spire Outpost village on the remote frontier planet of Batuu. Attractions include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, a dark ride that places guests in a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance; and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a flying simulator attraction that allows guests to pilot the Millenium Falcon through a customized secret mission on behalf of Hondo Ohnaka and Chewbacca. Restaurants and shops include Oga's Cantina, Savi's Workshop, and the Droid Depot. The land opened in 2019, replacing the park's Streets of America section. The 14-acre area cost an estimated $1 billion. - Probably why a park-ticket is $159.]

Imagine my surprise to see these Storm Troopers as I headed into my local Target store! They were larger than life-sized decals on the inside of the doors. Luckily when the doors parted they sort of disappeared.

Thanks everyone for checking out my Star Wars photos this week. It was so much fun to experiment with different lighting styles and techniques. I learn so much from all of you fellow Star Wars fans and photographers. Like The Force, inspiration surrounds us all.

I heard rumors from a Stormtrooper that if the Empire had relied less on the Force and a little more on Turtle Power maybe they would have won the war.

I was just playing around with some lighting, and really liked the way it hit the face, apart from trying to get the light saber to glow (which I really need to work on).

Poe Dameron realizes that he cannot escape the First Order, so he gives BB-8 the map and orders him to get as far from the village as possible, promising to come back. The dark side-wielder Kylo Ren arrives at the village and promptly executes Lor San Tekka. Overcome by anger, Poe fires on Ren, who uses the Force to immobilize the pilot and the blaster bolt.
