Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Central Florida - Futuristic!

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run - Very Cold Day!

Winter - Christmas Day - December 25th, 2022

*[Resistance Fighter-Spaceship - Galactic Fighter-Ship]

*[Couldn't wait to get back to this cool Star Wars exhibit to get a

'second shot' at this area! The first time was so much fun! Enjoy]

*[We had such a good time at this new Hollywood Studio's exhibit back in Dec/2019 that we came back for the grand opening week of a new 2nd exhibit that they just completed. Unfortunately, many of the exhibits were shut down (including this new one) because it was too cold, the machinery does not operate properly if the outside temp is below 40 degrees, and we were at about 35 degrees! LOL For Florida that is very low! So, I just took all the new exterior shots.

They are pretty cool. Hope you like them. Thank you for looking]

*[The quite-amazing new STAR WARS exhibit opened just ten days

prior (to above) on December 5th, 2019. Since we were in Orlando

for a company holiday-party we checked it out. As expected, it was jammed in the daytime with a 90+ minute wait for the ride. We went back in the evening (with a 35 minute wait) and it was very cool! With everything all lit-up at night it was fantastic and we truly felt

as if we were on the Galaxy's Edge! A must for the Star Wars fan!]

*[We flew the fastest ship in the galaxy

while hurtling through hyperspace! LOL]

*[Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set within the Star Wars universe, at the Black Spire Outpost village on the remote frontier planet of Batuu. Attractions include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, a dark ride that places guests in a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance; and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a flying simulator attraction that allows guests to pilot the Millenium Falcon through a customized secret mission on behalf of Hondo Ohnaka and Chewbacca. Restaurants and shops include Oga's Cantina, Savi's Workshop, and the Droid Depot. The land opened in 2019, replacing the park's Streets of America section. The 14-acre area cost an estimated $1 billion. - Probably why a park-ticket is $159.]

My son bought me a beautiful lamp as an Xmas present. I collect lamps, and he knows what I like, so I got a 3D presentation of the surface of the moon.

It can be both plugged in and run on batteries, and I immediately got the idea to use my Force powers to take this self portrait and use it as my new profile pic.

Star Wars Launch Bay was an area at Disney's Hollywood Studios that gave guests a look at the movie props from the Star Wars franchise. Star Wars Launch Bay is the former location of The Magic of Disney Animation. There are special exhibits that give looks behind the scenes of the film, character meet & greets, and merchandise. It closed on March 13, 2020 and was replaced by a "Relaxation Station" to allow guests to safely remove facial coverings while remaining physically distanced.

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

In the depths of ancient Rome,

Amidst the steam and opulence,

Marcus Licinius Crassus, man of grand allure,

Proclaimed a name that would echo through history's pages,

A transformation, a metamorphosis of a peculiar sort.

"By the hearth of the gods, I decree!

No longer shall you be confined to the realm of sluggishness,

But rise, my friend, as a force to be reckoned with,

A conqueror of galaxies, a mighty Sith lord."

And in these words, a tiny creature found rebirth,

The humble snail, confined to obscurity's cradle,

Now embraced with a grandeur never imagined,

Transcending the boundaries of its shell.

Darth Vadercus, the name that echoed through the halls,

Causing whispers and murmurs akin to celestial winds,

Invisible threads bound this newfound entity,

To the realms of mythology and untold realms.

For who was this snail but a harbinger of change,

A symbol of relentless determination,

Crawling amidst the vastness of the universe,

Leaving a trail of celestial dust behind.

No longer confined to the world of another,

Darth Vadercus transcends the bounds of the mundane,

In every slow, calculated movement,

The power of the Sith lords pulsates through its veins.

As the stars watch with curious eyes,

The snail-turned-Sith embraces its newfound identity,

With a shell adorned in darkness and mystery,

A nocturnal emblem of the cosmic unknown.

So let the empires tremble and the galaxies quake,

For Darth Vadercus, once a humble snail,

Now ascends to a realm of infinite possibilities,

A poet of the cosmos, forever roaming the heavens.

In the grand tapestry of time,

Marcus Licinius Crassus proclaimed a new destiny,

And Darth Vadercus, the snail no more,

Became the stuff of legends, an immortal dance with fate.

In the restored romanesque church of St. Feliu de la Força d'Àreu, all the floor is covered by this thousand years old pebble pavement. A kind of rustic medieval mosaic.
