Aft Balcony

Another long lens texture shot, this time of the granite cliffs above the path to Seljavalaug. I'd love to spend some more time exploring round here, as it really does mess with your brain - twisted columnar granite, mixed with granite that forms cubes and octahedrons and then fall off into scree runs. All this combined with occasional small waterfalls and a warm geothermal pool at the end.

So much awesome natural texture to be found at Badlands National Park. This was taken at the Big Badlands Overlook located along the Badlands Loop Road. It felt like I was on the Moon. I fell in love with this national park and can't wait to see it again.

I shot these rusty rolls of fencing last fall...I was viewing this image large tonight and really like it... This shot does look cool viewed large... :-)

Ok I said I was done posting before my vacation but I found these Peonies out front and the Flickr junky in me took over. I'm leaving for Florida on Sunday . We are planning a trip to see the Egrets and the Wood storks nest in St. Augustine. I'm hopeful it will be a fantastic Op...Thank you so much and I will try to answer everyone before I go ( and try to make this my last post... )
