One of the best backyard chickens due to their mostly calm demeanor they are usually used for egg laying and meat but these specific chickens i`m visiting will be used exclusively for their eggs. These chickens I shot are still a bit young but my fingers are crossed that they`ll lay some eggs while i`m visiting them so I can have some freshness for breakfast.
These all are free of charge, but if you decide to use one or more of these textures in your own artwork it is your responsibility to reference the origin of a texture you employed.

It was that period in the vernal quarter when we may suppose the Dryads to be waking for the season. As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.
The photo was taken using the camera App ClearCam for iPhone. The file is saved as an 18mp Image (the default for ClearCam when using an iPhone 5 and saving the image using the Enhanced mode). The original image can be found below.
First of all I used PhotoToaster to edit the image. This was done by cropping the image in closer towards the Cows and applying the Realtor filter to the photo, to help brighten the grass and trees a little. Next I used the app Laminar to apply the 3-Strip Technicolor Fx to the image to help deepen the colour of the sky. I also used the same app to apply the Craquelure Style to the picture to make the image look a little more like a painting. Finally I imported the image back into PhotoToaster to apply the Canvas texture and add the Shadow II frame.
The original photo was taken down the road from Tile Hill Train station. I liked the look of all the Cows gathered near to the tree in the middle of the field.

Heavy crop of a snail macro (Z6, FTZ, 11mm Extension Tube, Tamron 90mm Macro Lense). Really liked the textures of it's skin.
This was an old postcard by Artbyheather@ www.flickr.com/photos/hadesigns/4541269081/ . I was challenged to make a texture out of it!
