Tout un paquet de textures (les miennes) et une de Boccacino.

J'ai l'impression d'être dans une série de "mains"!

We crunch, shovel, gobble burp, belch, squeak and grunt,

our tails are curly as a slinky, wiggly as a helter-skelter

Badger by John Clare

When midnight comes a host of dogs and men

Go out and track the badger to his den,

And put a sack within the hole, and lie

Till the old grunting badger passes by.

He comes and hears - they let the strongest loose.

The old fox hears the noise and drops the goose.

The poacher shoots and hurries from the cry,

And the old hare half wounded buzzes by.

They get a forked stick to bear him down

And clap the dogs and take him to the town,

And bait him all the day with many dogs,

And laugh and shout and fright the scampering hogs.

He runs along and bites at all he meets:

They shout and hollo down the noisy streets.

The town of Breckenridge was started as a mining town in the Gold Rush Age in the late 1800's. It was a boom, bust era, as the town grew from striking gold, then silver, then very little happened until the dredges came in and dredged the Blue River that runs through the small town. Today It's mostly a great place to ski, vacation, fish and tour with beautiful views from every angle.

I went to San Telmo yesterday and around some vintage shops, I fell in love with an old dress, not this one,the store had closed when I arrived but I will back again, if I can buy it I will show it to to you.

Looking Close on Friday theme: Textile Texture

Thanks to everyone who took the time to view, comment, and fave my photo. It’s really appreciated. 😊

Two photos with four textures, all manipulated thusly through experimentation. With texturing one never really knows the outcome.

I found the little round wood "shingles" used as siding to be unique. They offer good protection while adding a quaiint texture to the structures.

“So fine was the morning except for a streak of wind here and there that the sea and sky looked all one fabric, as if sails were stuck high up in the sky, or the clouds had dropped down into the sea.”
