This was just to see if I can manage the cutting and if the glue is good :3
The cutting needs to be a bit more detailed still though, this is too rough.
Size of the butterfly is 1,2 cm... I need to make a bit smaller ones too.

Testing my recent purchase. All @ f/5.6, wide open. Originally purchased from eBay for $34.99. When it arrived I discovered it did not fit my Pentax M42 adapter as described in the listing on ebay. There was also another attachment on the lens. The attachment may very well be a T Mount to Leica adapter. The actual mount on the camera is a T2 Mount/T Mount. I purchased a T Mount to EOS EF adapter($5.99 w/free ship)....here are some initial results with the lens.
This is my first test of my home made macro lense.
I made from a Tamron 70-300mm lense extended to 300mm and then taped my Canon 50mm backwards to the end of the Tamron.
I was really inpressed by how close you can get with it, however the depth of field is about as deep as a piece of paper.

My next RC plane will be the Pulse 125. A recommended modification is the addition of a second pushrod (joined to the first) so that both elevators are controlled. This is sample test with some coathanger wire, thin copper wire harvested from speaker cable, and a 30W soldering iron with rosin core solder... and PLENTY of flux.
