Testing my tiger linocut. More to cut away on the black and the green and red plates still to do. Must work on simplifying things for the next print!

Test for another 'new' lens SMC Takumar 55 2. I feel the bokeh is a little bit weird - looks like haze at lower part and not equal to the upper part in this photo. I have doubts also because there're many light scratches on the front lens. Or this lens just gives bokeh like this??

Last year it seemed like everyone and their mom's was trying out for Adventure Time (my favorite cartoon) and I was no exception. Obviously, I didn't make the cut but I thought I'd post my boards. If you look at this one in the slideshow view it's more fun to cycle through.

Wagamama, a Japanese restaurant, was announced open in that mall. When we went there, it wasn't built yet.. Another triumph for marketeers.

Two months ago, I tarted up my Lishe with some Aromaleigh mineral make up. Since it's entirely oil free, there was speculation on just whether it would stain or not. Well, I had an extra head, so...I had to try it. Call me masochistic.

I hadn't even touched the head in two months, so it was dusty. I just took the pic, then dunked it in some water, wiped it off, then sent it to the brush cleaner. The color hadn't darkened at all, which I was somewhat worried about.

There's only a couple of millimeters of focus though, so it's bloody difficult.

The famous illuminated tram, “The Western Train” is nearing the end of a massive two and a half year rebuild and will be on nightly illuminations during the 2009 Blackpool Illuminations, the first time it will have run in ten years. The restoration work has been painstakingly detailed and will return the tram to 1962 condition -except for the interior of the rear coach, where the clock is being turned all the way back to 1928. The work has been funded with the assistance and support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, and has been carried out in our own workshops.

Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen support a COVID-19 testing event for students and staff at Randolph-Macon College Nov. 17, 2020, in Ashland, Virginia. VNG personnel collected 500 samples via drive-thru and walk-up testing on campus in support of the Virginia Department of Health. During the event, Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, and Brig. Gen. James Ring, Director of the VNG Joint Staff, visited with and thanked Soldiers and Airmen for their hard work. Williams and Ring also met with R-MC president Robert Lindgren, college staff and Erin Barringer, R-MC’s sole Reserve Officers’ Training Corps cadet. (U.S. National Guard photo by Mike Vrabel)
