My first test shots are always from my terrace. It's a good place to shoot from and I can compare image quality of one camera against another more easily. You can see Astoria, Long Island City, and Manhattan in this photo.
It was overcast and foggy. Later, it rained so I didn't go out and shoot. This is the widest angle, 28 mm. I bumped up the saturation for this shot. It looks better given the gray day.

TEST LA, organized by the AHF Fall 2015 Interns, focused on reaching out to the Hollywood community, breaking down stigma associated with HIV/AIDS testing, and increasing awareness about the importance of knowing your status. Held on December 5, TEST LA supported the 20x20 campaign, a worldwide call to action to get 20 million people tested by 2020. Guests enjoyed free HIV testing, food, drinks, giveaways, a film screening and panel of special guests, and more!

During testing on my abetterbouncecard design I created this photo.
Details: Canon 540EZ at 1/8th power direct to scene. No bounce card.
Camera: 4ft from simple tripod and tripod 1ft from a near-white wall.
Flash: DIRECT TO SUBJECT. This was with the flash set to widest spread with the dispersion filter down.
Result: Hard edges from the flash.
We don't have photoshop on our computer anymore..so I'm trying trying to figure out what I can do with the paint program that came in our computer's "Accessories" folder...lol.
I cannibalized photos that I would've otherwise deleted and arranged them in a way that (I think) the colors compliment eachother. Unfortunately the apple photo is out of focus and obstructed by random pieces of grass.
Oh well. It's just a test. lol
