On the weekend of July 10th-12th, Zlogblog.com and Ryan at Gomeansgo.org will be collaborating; putting together a weekend full of events. Dr M: "Well, yes sir, but you must understand that research as radical as mine will encounter a few setbacks occasionally."
CC: "From what I understand you have expended 46 Troopers just this month."
Dr M: "Erm, yes sir, but surely a few dozen worthless lives are a small price to pay for the possible benefit to be gained?"
CC: "Perhaps, but I don't have an endless supply of Troopers to act as fodder for your dreams. I want results by the end of the month or the entire project is cancelled. Now be gone!"
Dr M: "Y..Yes sir, at once!"

Protesters march into Washington Park in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016. A mistrial was declared after 25 hours of deliberation, the jury was hung at 8-4 in favor of a voluntary manslaughter conviction. Ray Tensing, the former University of Cincinnati police officer, is charged with the murder of Sam DuBose during a routine traffic stop on July 19, 2015. Tensing's lawyer, Stew Mathews, has said Tensing fired a single shot because he feared for his life. Hamilton Prosecutor Joe Deters is trying the case himself. The presiding judge is Common Pleas Judge Megan Shanahan.
Hartford battles an early afternoon fire on 6/13/08 at the Institute of Living on Washington St. The fire was contained to an office building but there were several tense moments due to it's close proximity to patient care areas and the fact that it quickly burned through the roof triggering the call for a second alarm. No patients, staff or fire fighters were injured and the baze was brought under control in about 40 minutes.
