Currently, my constant state of mind is my upcoming trip to Paris. I leave one week from today! I chose to do a post about my trip to Paris because it will very much shape my future (at least for the next few months). With travel comes new inspiration, thoughts & ideas, and projects. I'm just as excited for the aftermath of the experience as a I am for the trip.

A mistrial was declared after 25 hours of deliberation, the jury was hung at 8-4 in favor of a voluntary manslaughter conviction. Ray Tensing, the former University of Cincinnati police officer, is charged with the murder of Sam DuBose during a routine traffic stop on July 19, 2015. Tensing's lawyer, Stew Mathews, has said Tensing fired a single shot because he feared for his life. Hamilton Prosecutor Joe Deters is trying the case himself. The presiding judge is Common Pleas Judge Megan Shanahan.
