Ok so one more!! My friend Bruce Sorrell posted a scary "Halloween-ish" image so I was inspired to share this rather ghoulish image. It's a figure on top of a blower on a Hot Rod. I hope it's not too scary. It's my favorite of the two that I posted today. :-)

*No John's were hurt in the making of this photo!" :D

Nature’s Wonder - Grasstree (Xanthorrhoea Preissii) is endemic to Australia. It has very long and bunched, grass-like, leaves fanning out from the crown resembling visualisation of a tensor field.

Your's truly crossing a log bridge across the Uhl River in Barot Village,Himachal Pradesh,India.

The trick is not to look down at the waters while crossing but it is easier said than done. You can probably detect the look of tense concentration on my face.:-)After some minutes the bridge seems to be swaying and the river seems to be pulling you down.See what risks I take to click good shots to share with you all.:-)

Tense relationship between this heron and this boat. The heron is sulking while the boat asks him to leave him alone "Fish moi la paix (in french)". There will probably be no fish sharing tonight!

Relation tendue entre ce héron et ce bateau. Le héron fait la tête tandis que le bateau lui demander de lui "Fish la paix". Il n'y aura probablement pas d'échange de poisson ce soir !

Mexican Sunflower (Tithonia diversifolia) one of the prettiest flowers right after the frost. Their color seems to be intensified for those first few days... before they fade and drop to become part of the life cycle once again.

I’m always overthinking

Only give in when I’m drinking

Almost say it when you hold me

But then something in my heart starts closing

You told your mom about me

You make it all look easy

I still haven’t saved your number

Swore this time I wouldn’t run but

I need you to reassure me that you’ll be

With me in the present

When happy’s in the past tense

What happens when it fades away

We’re running out of pretty things to say

When it’s easier to go than to stay

Will you choose to love me, I’m afraid

What happens when we’re face to face

The only thing we see is our mistakes

When it’s easier to go than to change

Will you choose to love me all the same?

Don’t want dancing on the surface

Cause underneath I’m hurting

I’ll push you til I’m undeserving

And you decide that I'm not worth it

I keep getting defensive

Now I’m passive and aggressive

Could put my pride aside, but won’t let you see me cry

Find it safer to be self destructive

I need you to reassure me that you’ll be

With me in the present

When happy’s in the past tense

What happens when it fades away

We’re running out of pretty things to say

When it’s easier to go than to stay

Will you choose to love me, I’m afraid

Know I’m too much

I’m hard to love

But don’t give

Don't give this up

I’m too much

I’m hard to love

But don’t give

Don't give this up

What happens when it fades away

I’m running out of pretty things to say

Will you choose to love me?

Will you choose to love me all the same?

His body tense,
