Before we even got into Tunica Paula Deen was everywhere offering us sweet tea, cookies, or food. This was when we walked into Harrah's & there were several more signs that we passed walking the 100 yards to the elevator. Paula is very persistent.

Several large clumps of these have been growing on or near the old tree stumps in my backyard. I need to go out and grab one tonight so I can do further analysis and try to ID it. Since I have such an ample supply, it would really be nice if these were edible ;-)
Near the Potter Section House. One of two young men who ignored the signs warning that the mud is very dangerous. They played a game of follow the leader, hopping from ice chunk to ice chunk at the edge of a very cold Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet. Survival in this water is measured in seconds. Ahh, the invincibility of youth.
