I had a chance to shoot with Luba in April 2011 at one of our group shoots - she was an absolute blast to work with; creative, fun, great attitude, photogenic, sweet, sexy, and a real sweetheart to boot. Luba had some other great outfits but I didn't have a chance to shoot her in those - maybe next time!
We did this group shoot in South Anchorage.
Strobist info - I used two flash units, a Canon 580 EX II and a Vivitar 285 HV; I positioned the 580 Camera left at 45 degrees and 1/2 power and the 285HV at 45 degrees camera right at 1/4 power, both through umbrellas. I triggered the lights with Cybersync transmitter and receivers.
This was my first shoot with Kelsey and she blew my socks off - what an incredibly lovely young lady - very focused, fun, photogenic with the most exotic features, and she didn't seem to mind shooting with us. I shot with Kelsey at our October 2010 group shoot at Boot Hill salvage yard near Butte, AK. The lot is filled with a bunch of classic cars in various stages of disrepair and we tried to get Kelsey in the middle of them - and she was a great sport about the whole thing.
I like the way the photos turned out and would love to shoot with her again!
This was Rae Anne's first shoot - and hopefully not the last. It doesn't look like she's never done this before. Right from the beginning I knew it would be a blast to shoot with her - and it was. She had to leave early for work so I only had a few minutes to shoot with her but it was time well spent - what an incredible young lady! Hopefully Rae will shoot with us in the future.

Whenever I shoot with a model I try to limit the number of photos I post to about 10-15 but with Stephanie and America that is next to impossible. Both young ladies are incredibly photogenic, fun, sweet, creative, and just plain awesome people. This is the 2nd year I was able to shoot with them at the Texas Renaissance Festival - I'm already looking forward to 2013. I took these photos on the Fairy themed weekend - I didn't even recognize them at first with these cool outfits. Wow - I know I lead a charmed life and being able to shoot with these two makes me realize how lucky I am!

This yard up the street from me has ALWAYS tempted me to sneak and and take some pictures.. it's way overgrown and mysterious.. I don't even think anyone lives there.. but the afternoon light always comes right thru the break in the fence making it even more mysterious. :)

I'm a TOTAL flirt, I honestly don't mean to do it, it is only my personality. What made me think of this is that the wedding that I shot over the weekend had some young men in it, well, I went to school with all of them, only they are 10 years younger than me, they have grown up. :)
I totally didn't do a thing wrong, hubby just didn't like the way I "talked" to them, he told me next time to bat my eyelashes flip my hair. :P MEN...
So, now listen. :) An 80's flashback for you.

Trace the development of the nude through some of the great masters of the Renaissance. Bringing together works by artists such as Titian, Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Dürer and Cranach, we shed light on a visual tradition at its most vital moment.
The 15th and 16th centuries were a pivotal time for the nude in Western art. A renewed interested in ancient Greek and Roman art brought the human body to the forefront of artistic innovation. Artists on both sides of the Alps – Perugino, Pollaiuolo and Gossaert among others – were copying from classical models, experimenting with naturalistic approaches, as well as exploring new, non-religious subject matter.
At the same time, the nude was transforming Christian art, encouraging modern and dynamic representations of age-old themes, from the story of Adam and Eve to the crucifixion.
This spectacular exhibition explores these important changes in a selection of exquisite works. From full-scale paintings to jewel-like illustrations, bronze statuettes to anatomical studies, they contrast idealised beauty with the ageing body, and public images with more intimate, private works.
