This kind of temporary house is very common in the hill which surrending Taipei city, but exisisted in the public hill. This kind of house was built by people who are climb this hill every day and built it thru many years to complete it. Although it is a bad quality house, it is one kind of low culture for the low level people who just love to climb hill every day and join to talk to pass one day. They are almost aged people.
Naomi called the dealership and they said until we bring it in, we should use tape to cover the hole to prevent moisture from getting into the car. The only tape we had that was waterproof was the aluminum tape I used to tape up the chimney of one of our kerosene heaters. Water won't leak through that tape! Fortunately we had already made an appointment to winterize the car for next Monday so they'll take a look at it soon and let us know when it'll be fixed.

In the wake of the typhoon in late September, 2009, families who could not afford to properly rebuild constructed temporary houses using whatever they could find. Houses such as this one are unlikely to survive the next typhoon season, when Da Nang is hit by as many as five typhoons in the average year.
The former home of the London County Council and Greater London Authority, County Hall is on the lower-right. The main six storey building was designed by Ralph Knott. It is faced in Portland stone in an Edwardian Baroque style. The construction by Holland, Hannen & Cubitts, started in 1911 and the building was opened in 1922 by King George V.
The London Eye stands 443ft tall, and allows visitors to see a uninterrupted 360 degree view of the city. Originally a temporary structure for the Millennium, the Eye now has a lease to remain for at least another 20 years. Its one of the most visited tourist attractions in the UK with over 3.5million visitors annually.
