This moveable safety barricade is frequently visible along roadways where roadwork calls for the visible demarcation of construction zones. On arrival at work one morning we were informed that a red tailed hawk nest in a tree next to our fire station had been blown down during a wind and rain storm. The two chicks were on the ground next to the station and the mother was circling and screeching - clearly distressed. The night crew had fashioned a nest of sticks in a cola crate and tied it to the truck of the tree. After consulting some local wild life and animal rescue experts the on coming day crew used a 110ft ladder truck to replace the nest at the top of the tree .
An hour after the nest was replace one of the crew from that station had reported that the mother hawk had been seen in the nest with the chicks feeding.
In addition to taking the pictures - I was the guy driving the ladder truck and operating the ladder platform.
23rd of September 2017 and Squiffy appears to have slipped her moorings and drifted against the Mumbles Pier.
After the rescue the RNLI crew secure her to a buoy in Swansea Bay.
I use a steel rule to work out the angle of the seatstays. This is measured with a vernier protractor to set the rotary table on the milling machine

Lucas took the curtains down to install the new wood blinds, and now I'm waiting on him to install the other curtain rod that we've had waiting to be switched out for over a year. He also installed the new fan, which I love. The old fixture was not putting off enough light for my liking, and this one has cool seeded glass shades that let all the light through...it's nearly too bright!

Nikon F3 with 35mm PC-Nikkor lens, loaded with Legacy Pro 400 (aka Neopan 400), developed in Legacy Pro Ascorbic Acid Developer (xtol copy) 1:1 for 9.75 minutes with 30 seconds initial agitation followed by 6 agitations every minute thereafter.
Was recently given a PC-Nikkor lens. Still need to a bit of reading up on it but decided anyhow to play around with it yesterday morning.

This is the mono-pitch greenhouse we will be taking to Chelsea and it will be coming back to Torberry Farm afterwards. We can wait to start growing in it!
The temporary library at Harewood House will close on Thursday 29 January at 2pm.
It will open in its new home on the Ridgeway on Monday 2 February at 2pm
