MV38240 LJ17WTP seen departing Westbourne Park having starting its trip on route 452 towards Vauxhall.
The route's northbound terminus is temporarily restructured to Westbourne Park, because of roadworks at Ladbroke Grove. Although the 52 does head the same way as the 452 there, the 452 has been diverged here probably to not lose time if there is congestion there.
How disruptive, having to move away from where we normally have our meals together. A kitchen renovation has turned our daily routine upside down. On the flipside, we've discovered that the light over here in the library is somehow warmer. This temporary bokeh is a nice trade-off too.

Heavy rain over Death Valley National Park on October 18 created the temporary Lake Manly on the Badwater Salt Flats. This causes the salt flats to become resurfaced with a new layer of white rock salt as the salty water dries, so instead of the dirty, dusty surface that has been common in recent years, Badwater should look very different this year.
