Quite a few airplanes at my local airport ended up in a similar state after the recent snowstorm - this was the biggest and most dramatic, though.

Service 516 had been on a temporary timetable, due to the closure of Pebble Hill Road at Betchworth, from 8th September 2014. This saw it have to divert via the A24 and double run Headley to/from Box Hill.
Pebble Hill Road re-opened on Friday 23rd January 2015, however Monday 26th January saw the start of a closure of West Street in Dorking, necessitating another temporary timetable. Inbound 516s to Dorking are terminating at The White Horse (rather than continuing to South Street). On departure from Dorking, they are starting at the White Horse, and running via South Street to Townfield Court, where they are serving stop R instead of stop S, then running via Horsham Road, Flint Hill and up the A24 Deepdene Avenue to regain normal line of route. This arrangement is in place all day weekdays, but not Saturdays. The road is closed from 9.15am to 3.30pm on weekdays.
The 465 is also running via Flint Hill and Deepdene Avenue.
Arriva's 32 and Metrobus' 22 and 93 are diverting via Station Road and Ashcombe Road.

These temporary tracks were used for the delivery of the fully-restored Frisco 4500 steam locomotive to a track segment that serves as a permanent exhibit home for the engine. These tracks were removed the following day, 5 June 2011, after the train was delivered. Tulsa, OK

MAN010 leading MAN002, MAN006 ahead of 9375 cooling their heels at the temporary crew change platform at Junee after a non-stop run from Wollongongs Inner Harbour. The platform has been constructed to avoid trains blocking the Olympic hwy level crossing which is currently the only railway crossing in town due to the Kemp St bridge being closed due to reconstruction works for the Inland Rail. Down train crews no longer changeover at the station platform.

Late in 2005, the architect Pierre Louis Faloci finished the restoration of the chapel building, making possible the reopening of a temporary exhibition room.

"The Musée Rodin in Paris, France, is a museum that was opened in 1919, dedicated to the works of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin. It has two sites: the Hôtel Biron and surrounding grounds in central Paris and just outside Paris at Rodin's old home, the Villa des Brillants at Meudon (Hauts-de-Seine). The collection includes 6,600 sculptures, 8,000 drawings, 8,000 old photographs, and 7,000 objets d’art. The museum receives 700,000 visitors annually.
While living in the Villa des Brillants, Rodin used the Hôtel Biron as his workshop from 1908 and subsequently donated his entire collection of sculptures (along with paintings by Vincent van Gogh and Pierre-Auguste Renoir that he had acquired) to the French State on the condition that they turn the buildings into a museum dedicated to his works.
The Musée Rodin contains most of Rodin's significant creations, including The Thinker, The Kiss, and The Gates of Hell. Many of his sculptures are displayed in the museum's extensive garden. The museum is one of the most accessible museums in Paris. It is located near a Metro stop, Varenne, in a central neighborhood, and the entrance fee is very reasonable. The gardens around the museum building contain many of the famous sculptures in natural settings. Behind the museum building are a small lake and casual restaurant.
Additionally, the Metro stop, Varenne, features some of Rodin's sculptures on the platform. The building is served by Métro (line 13: Varenne or Invalides), RER (line C: Invalides), and bus (69, 82, 87, 92).
The museum has also a room dedicated to the works of Camille Claudel. Some paintings by Monet, Renoir, and Van Gogh that were in Rodin's personal collections are also presented. The Musée Rodin collections are very diverse, as Rodin used to collect besides being an artist."

South West Trains services at platforms 20-22. The Waterloo Station & South West upgrade project is taking place between 5 & 28 August 2017 resulting in platforms 1-10 at London Waterloo Station being closed to enable them to be extended resulting in major changes to train services whilst the works are carried out. The former Eurostar platforms 20-24 have temporarily been brought back into use to provide additional capacity during the upgrade.

Temporary flags line the monumental 100 Victoria Embankment in a display of public support for the Monarchy and promoting national pride on the jubilee weekend.
The radiator is all OK. Just needs painting which will be done when the weather gets better.
I am restoring all the cooling system now rather than when the chassis is all nice paint. (A lot of grinding and welding is taking place at the moment)
The long silver pipe is the top hose. The thermostat housing outlet is level with the centre of the chassis so, it is a long way from the engine to the top of the rad. All in all, it is about 8 feet from the heads to the top of the rad.
This pipe is all new as the old one was full of holes. The bronze housing was reused and the new pipe simply brazed in.
The smaller copper tube on the left is the overflow pipe which just drops down to the bottom and out onto the road. This is original and just cleaned up.
Ha, the temporary guest room is filled with project furnishings. Ah well, it IS all temporary...I hope!
Another ramp similar to this one will be built for the contractor to access areas of the project north of Poplar Tent Road. Motorists on the interstate should be able to continue past the area, uninterrupted.
