This weekend I'm busy with my all analog obsolete studio. It now consists of an SGI Indigo2 with Galileo Video and a WinXP box with a Pinnacle DV500 DVD.
This western white pine cone was grafted as a conelet as shown above. This technique could be useful in providing progeny seed that would otherwise be lost. Dorena Genetic Resource Center, Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Dorena Genetic Resource Center (DGRC) is the USDA Forest Service's regional service center for genetics in the Pacific Northwest Region. Dorena houses disease resistance breeding programs for five-needled pines and Port-Orford-cedar, a native plant development program, and the National Tree Climbing Program.

Photographic techniques capture electromagnetic wavelengths beyond human vision, revealing features invisible to the naked eye. These signals are processed into interpretable forms using methods like color mapping.
Pink lacks a specific electromagnetic wavelength, while grey poses a limitation due to its representation of only intensity—a blend of light and dark without spectral specificity. Imaging techniques reliant on spectral variation produce identical results for greyscale images unless non-visible data is present. Deviations from this uniformity may indicate errors, misinterpretations, or unknown phenomena.
Contention persists over analytical debates, including dismissible claims like Van Allen belt dangers and contested evidence of lunar mirrors. The precision of laser reflections targeting a moving 3x3-foot marker on the Moon highlights technical skill but often fails to resolve skepticism. For instance, a 0.1° shift moves a laser spot 670 km across the Moon's surface.
Forensic analysis (2022, 2023) of Apollo 11–17 photographs assessed authenticity claims. Images of humans in space, Earth, and the Moon's distant views were validated, but Moon landing visuals showed variations, suggesting diverse techniques may have replicated certain elements.
PEMi (Photoelectromagnetic Image) software enhances forensic analysis by differentiating natural and artificial light sources, revealing hidden features. Each PEMi-ID links to original sources, ensuring traceability and comparison.

Inspired by the technique over at Splitcoaststampers called Smack Down. I used a Hero Arts stamp and Catherine Pooler ink - Fiesta Blue. The white embossed sentiment is also from a CP stamp set.

Customarily, women were prohibited from learning the practice, but since the group’s formation in 1998, Tyva Kyzy has been rewriting the region’s gendered history and creating a new future for young women in Tuva.
Join us for an intimate evening with Tyva Kyzy (Daughters of Tuva), the first and only female Tuvan throat-singing ensemble. This enchanting evening of music and culinary arts will commence with an amuse bouche followed by a farm-to-table meal prepared by Alex and Katrina of Little Truc that harmonizes seasonal produce from local farms with the flavors and aromas of Central Asia. Double-bassist, Garth Stevenson opens the evening, described by iTunes as “the aural equivalent of effortlessly swimming underwater without ever needing to come up for air.”
