Technique #1: Embossing. It’s a method where you press an image into your garment to create a three-dimensional design.
Technique #2: Reflective Screen Printing. These reflective inks will add something special to your typical screen-printing run.
Technique #3: Puff Screen Printing. With puff inks you can raise above the surface of your clothing, adding texture, density and giving the garment almost a three-dimensional look.
Technique #4: Screen-printing a Photo. Usually people use DTG for printing a photo onto a garment but what if you go with Screen Printing instead? This will increase the durability & vibrance of your print and give you much more fabric options than DTG can, as with the DTG process, your garments need to 80% Cotton minimum.
Technique #5: Embroidery & Screen-Printing Combination. I have noticed many people compare these two techniques but do not combine them. This is a great and creative way to add more quality, variance and appealing to your custom clothing.
Technique #6: All Over Printing. With the right design you can knock down your competitors that make ordinary prints especially on hoodies. It will always be trendy and on demand so all over prints is definitely the way to go.
Technique #7: Glow in the Dark Printing The glow in the dark ink will make your custom clothing not only stand out but will bring in lots of attention to those wearing it and many people.

I saw a beautiful Ombre technique on a card by Virginia and it made me want to do this technique. My favourite colour is purple so I had to try this out. I got some new Hero Arts stamps last week... the lovely big Leafy Vine and a birthday sentiment set so decided to ink them up. I clear embossed the vine and look 4 Distress inks and sponged them, lightest to darkest down the card. I had coloured the lace for an earlier project but hadn't use so it was all ready to go. Decided to keep the ombre feel but stamping the flower three times and colouring in three colours of distress.
