something about calling an item of clothing "technical" cracks me up. Is it that they're only "technically" pants? Are they for serious important "technical" work? Why are they "technical"?
The mic in the Protoman helmet was being wonky, and they were trying to fix it on stage by wiggling the connecting wire. I'm serious.

RAF Chedworth is a WW2 satellite airfield outside the village of Chedworth in Gloucestershire. It was built between 1941 and 1942 and used for flight training through most of its operational life. For less than a month in June / July 1944 the airfield was home to the 9th Air Force of the USAAF.
A relatively small airfield, in a safe middle England location, it lacks the defences many in the South East have. What remains today are almost both runways, the battle HQ, as well as the operations building, armoury, and remnants of the dispersed living sites.
Public footpaths run throughout so access is straightforward, but many of the buildings are still on private farmland.
Technical Pavilion I & II Hellevoetsluis, NL - architect: Royal Haskoning Architects, 2002 - 2007
The two buildings of the Technisch Paviljoen Hellevoetsluis share facilities for 3 local colleges: The Helinium College and the Penta College and the Albeda College. The combination of the colleges under one roof provides efficient, shared use of expensive educational facilities such as practicum spaces, a multimedia centre and others. The buildings are a prime example of sustainable building. All applied materials are recyclable; the energy consumption is very low due to the compact layout.

Alexandria Technical Rescue team members prepare to enter a 36 inch culvert that will eventually lead to a 24inch 'void' space. Not only is the space obstructed with reinforced concrete barriers that the teams will have to cut through, the rescuers will have to extract any 'survivors' they find within the simulated collapsed structure; all within a three hour time limit. The fire fighters were participating in the annual training program called Rescue Challenge, designed to challenge technical rescue teams from Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia and the Federal Government. Rescue Challenge was held at various locations across north central Virginia and is not a competition. Instead, it is an opportunity for highly trained teams to gain experience by participating in realistic scenarios that test their skills and knowledge. It is also a great opportunity for technical rescuers from many jurisdictions to discuss issues and trade valuable information in a formal and informal setting.
