I thought this was funny when I first saw it, because I assumed it was a "trompe l'oeil" situation - that's French for "fool the eye". Who would make the support for the Tower run RIGHT THROUGH the casino like that - it's got to be a gag, right? What a hoot! But nope, this is the real base of the fake tower - it turns out they erected the tower first, then built the casino around part of the base. My mistake.
