Erwin Wurm has long been one of the world stars of contemporary art. The ALBERTINA is now dedicating an exhibition of the thematically and technically very versatile drawings of recent years to the exceptional Austrian artist. Whether at home or on the move: Erwin Wurm draws almost every day. He works with the paper available on site, in various qualities and formats, with a pencil, colored pencil, ballpoint pen or watercolor. The drawings are reflection, world commentary as well as memory of ideas and encompass the artist's entire work cosmos.
Thematically, they resemble a diary, as in them appear in addition to self-portraits but especially people with whom Erwin Wurm is in contact - artist friends and family members. Furthermore, in his works on paper, well-known personalities from politics, art and cultural history occupy him. In common Wurm's drawings have his snappish-humorous view of the world and of mankind with all its inadequacies, as well as his sense for situation comedy and precarious moments.
The exhibition will be on view from 21st November 2018 to 10th February 2019.
Erwin Wurm zählt längst zu den Weltstars der zeitgenössischen Kunst. Die ALBERTINA widmet dem österreichischen Ausnahmekünstler nun eine Ausstellung seiner thematisch wie technisch sehr vielseitigen Zeichnungen der letzten Jahre. Ob daheim oder unterwegs: Erwin Wurm zeichnet fast täglich. Dabei arbeitet er mit dem vor Ort verfügbaren Papier, in verschiedenen Qualitäten und Formaten, mit Bleistift, Farbstift, Kugelschreiber oder auch Wasserfarbe. Die Zeichnungen sind Reflexion, Weltkommentar sowie Ideenspeicher und umfassen den gesamten Werkkosmos des Künstlers.
Thematisch gleichen sie einem Tagebuch, tauchen darin neben Selbstporträts doch vor allem Menschen auf, mit denen Erwin Wurm in Kontakt ist - Künstlerfreundinnen und –freunde sowie Familienmitglieder. Darüber hinaus beschäftigen ihn in seinen Arbeiten auf Papier auch bekannte Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte. Gemeinsam ist den Zeichnungen Wurms bissig-humorvoller Blick auf die Welt und den Menschen mit all seinen Unzulänglichkeiten sowie sein Sinn für Situationskomik und prekäre Momente.
Die Ausstellung ist von 21. November 2018 bis 10. Februar 2019 zu sehen.

I was given three rolls of 35mm Kodak Technical Pan (expired 2002). I hunted around for a development scheme and finally settled on this. Mostly because I had Rodinal. I'm only posting in case some of you still have some in the fridge.

Rodinal 1+150 for thirteen minutes
Agitate with 30 seconds initial inversions, then 3 inversions at 10 minutes,7 minutes,4 minutes, and 1minute counting down. (every 3 minutes)
Regular stop, fix and hypo.
I used 5ml of Rodinal in 750ml of H2O. That gives less than the recommended 10ml of Rodinal but the negatives really look great (full tone scale).
I had to figure out a curve profile as I felt (and still do) that the midtones were not right. Technical Pan is also a dust magnet; lots of healing tool. Even with Rodinal there is virtually no grain.

Under the "Quick Impact Skills Development for Adolescents affected by the Syrian Refugee," a UNICEF project implemented by ANERA, technical trainings for sports coaches and trainers took place in North Lebanon and Ein El Helweh Camp, south Lebanon.
The trainings roamed around capacity building, life and communication skills, peace building and sports technicalities, with more than 76 sports clubs from North and South Lebanon involved in this project, targeting youth aged between 14 and 18.
