This is a better less complicated and much stronger (but not great) Lego claw. With a little more work this could be much longer. Right now is the same size as the Idea Book 8889 claw.

Having never shot this combination before, I figured I should use my final roll of Technical Pan in my collection with some Technidol I had laying around. Well the film is hard expired, but man, amazing results all the same!

Live from Juanita Bay, it's the main event! Standing in one corner, at eighteen centimeters long and weighing one-hundred-and-sixty grams, it's the mean green fighting machine, the enigma amphibia, Patrick the Frog!

In the other corner, standing at one-hunred-and-twenty-five centimers and weighing three-point-one kilograms, its the West of Market marauder, the featherweight champion of the lake, Bob the blue heron!

Now, let's get ready to rumble!

Patrick goes straight at him, and he goes for the feet! Two kicks and nothing. Bob goes for it. This blue's leaving no clues. He has Patrick by the head. And...what a body slam! And he slams him down again! Oh, it's not going well for Patrick. I think he's out of this! And Bob opens his mouth and...swallows Patrick! The bell rings. Patrick and won this by technical swallow! Photo Project #3603.

-Not That Dead-

A Water Strider is able to run on top of water due its ability to distribute its weight over a large area and the surface tension of the water.

My Lego Technic version of this amazing creature is motorised and is able to walk on land using it's long legs, and with the assistance of some extra flotation, it is also able to swim in water.

While this model was designed a few years ago now, it still remains as one of my favourite models that I have built.

This model contains 277 pieces.

Since being helpfully updated to Yahoo! Flickr account, apparently my Flickr email does not forward anymore (I just found these messages). So if you are sending me emails, send directly to me, don't trust Flickr mail - I tried updating it but it won't let me.
