Not into teams or sports
Football is a big snooze for me, but who watches the Super Bowl for the game, anyway?
When dressing for a Super Bowl party, I thought the least I could do is Google the team colors and not wear the “wrong ones.” (I’m not into team sports, but I’m also not into alienating myself from a group.) Thankfully, both teams had essentially the same colors so I couldn’t go wrong!
Vest, Tinseltown (cut from a consignment jacket). Shirt, Salt Valley (consignment). Dress, Old Navy (thrifted). Leggings, Mono B. Boots, Vionic. Bag, Anne Klein (thrifted).

Young dancers offstage waiting their turn at the spotlight.
Thank you Alan for the idea to make this B&W.
I chose team #history. All of this craziness about monster high vs bratz; who did what first... neither did sh*t first! And Btw, dolls don't do a darn thing, the adult creators do stuff that sells.
Genies, also know as jinns, or djinns, have been around since the Qur'ãn was written in the 7th century! Wow!
Oh wait, your argument is now: "who did it better" Oh ok, any of you familiar with the 1960's fantasy sitcom "I Dream of Jeanie" Barbara Eden? Yes, Barbara did it BEST. # point proven #schooled ya #case closed. #history rocks!
Short and sweet and to the point :p

Competition by dogsled teams from all over North America.
My wife and daughters, friends and extended family made up this team of Color Runners ... calling them Team Glitter. They were off to run and get covered in colors. Here they are clean before heading off this morning.
Took a capture of my colored up daughter when they returned ... that is to follow once processed :)

Honda Celebration of Light is one of the biggest events in Vancouver. Every year there will be three teams competing with each other. This year's participants are India, Canada, and Croatia. I was in Seattle last Saturday when India was performing their firework.
Fortunately, I didn't miss yesterday's one which was Canada. I arrived to the location (Granville Bridge) 2 hours before the firework. By that time, there were so many photographers on the bridge setting up their gears.
Throughout the firework show, I used Fujifilm's app to control my shutter release. It worked perfectly and I could control my exposure from 2 to 10 seconds. I think the hardest part of taking firework shots is the timing before pressing the shutter and releasing the shutter. I realized that 5 to 8 seconds are the sweet spot :)
