Clemson University graduate Amanda Bluhm, one of the first Clemson students to seek a Master’s degree through the College of Education’s innovative Teacher Residency program, and teacher Jennifer Eaton work together in Eaton’s 6th grade classroom at Mt. Lebanon Elementary School in Anderson County, S.C., May 24, 2019. Teacher residencies are a research-based method to increase teacher retention and preparedness as well as student achievement. At the heart of Clemson’s residency program is the college’s combined degree option for undergraduate education students. This degree option replaces student teaching in a student’s final undergraduate semester with graduate education classes, and the following year is comprised of a year-round teacher residency. The residency program will see its graduates emerge after five years with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education as well as an extended, year-long student teaching experience. TOPIC OUTLINE:

Eternity is a long, long time. So why on Earth don't we think more about Heaven??

Admit it - while you've got a vague idea that God's Kingdom is going to be a place of happiness and unity with God, you're also curious about the specifics.

What will our "risen" bodies look like? Will there still be such a thing as male and female? (You know what I mean) How old will I be?

Urban Theology starts 2009 with the enormously popular Father Peter Joseph, and at a brand new location just minutes from Central Station - the Hotel Clarendon in Surry Hills. Drivers beware: as this is the trendiest of areas, the venue has warned parking may be difficult, so arrive nice and early!

Urban Theology is the newest series of monthly talks-and-drinks in the city for intelligent young adults in their early 20s - early 30s, and who want to get a better handle on Catholic teachings on the big issues.

The Hotel Clarendon is located near the corner of Devonshire and Waterloo streets.

On the last day of my practicum, one of the students presented me with this card. (I had used the "Not sure if..." Fry meme to make a trigonometry joke earlier that week.)

Check out the inside too.

Never too young to teach nor too old to learn.

Although I really like Tillman Hall, I love Sikes Hall, as pictured here. It is by far my favorite building on campus. I catch the bus here often and I even weathered our tornado under its protective roof behind the columns. It always reminds me of the Lincoln Memorial which is my favorite monument in Washington, DC. I took this picture from my scooter, representative of all of the stupid things I have done while driving Spartacus. The mirror shows me taking the shot; it was not until college that I really got into photography and, more importantly, film; I’ll remember establishing such roots during my time at Clemson.

Hands-on demos are the easiest way to teach!

I had the pleasure of teaching over 30 moms from my son's preschool how to make jewelry! I thought earrings would be the simplest and easiest to learn and we all had a blast!

The moms caught on very fast and everyone made a few pairs during our time and I let them take home tons of supplies so the joy could continue.

Thanks to Randi for supplying all the clear and helpful tutorial instructions for each mom and thanks to Jamie for supplying tons of gorgeous samples!

Yellow bag, pencil case (with no pencil), permanent markers, pen (not here), sticky notes (leaf and square), and a A4-sized folder.

All new. Just bought it yesterday at a hypermart haha... Branded? Well, yes, if you consider any badge with whatever written on it :D

Consideration? Color comes first. I love yellow :D

(I've never heard of them except Faber-Castell for the markers and Post It for the sticky notes)
