This is a sorta commissioned figure for Stephen Stanton, the actor that supplies the voice for Captain Tarkin. Mr. Stanton's management team contacted me after Fan Days and requested a figure for Stephen. Apparently he was quite taken with the little guy and wanted one for himself.

The members of Rogue One on the beach detonate the explosives they have planted, which draws the attention of the Imperial garrison. Whilst they engage the enemy, both Governor Tarkin in the Death Star, and Rebel command on Yavin, are informed of the battle, and send their forces to Scarif. On the ground, Bodhi helps the Rebels gain an advantage by sending misinformation to the citadel control tower. Unfortunately, the Imperials deploy walkers and force the Rebels to retreat.
Tarkin, the Boston terrier (puppy), gets so excited for his human’s attention. He is like a little Tigger jumping up on and stretching on his human’s leg. This face is the “begging for attention” expression.

So after building a mini Boba Fett, I started to wonder if I could scale any other classic characters down... and then I went a little crazy until I pretty much ran out of the essential pieces to make any more.
The body dimensions are 3x3x4, comprised of mainly technic, although some of them have custom builds. The arms and legs all use the short CCBS limb element. The heads are curved bricks build around a 2x2 head, three studs tall minimum... just in case anybody else wants to make more at this scale.

The South Coast Rail Project, implemented by Keolis, MBTA, and MassDOT, is an expansion project involving rebuilding rail lines, rehabbing old track, deforestation, and building stations. Planned to be completed by the end of 2023, this is planned to have complete revenue MBTA trains running to and from Fall River and New Bedford, which would split here at Myricks Junction making the place where the two lines would branch off.
In order to accommodate trains doing speeds upwards of 45+ Mph on these lines, welded rail is used to be put in for a smoother ride for passengers and better for the condition of the equipment. Jointed rail, which has limited freight trains on this line at 10 Mph, would be unacceptable for commuter train speeds, so welded rail is being used to put in place of the older jointed rail.
Here, with GP7U MC 2006 put in multiple unit mode with the lead engine, Larry's Truck & Electric (LTEX) GP40-2 3011, pushes the welded rail train past Myricks Junction to Nash Road in New Bedford, MA. Along the way, between Chace Road and Braley Road, the train stopped to pick up the track laboring crew tasked with dispensing the welded rail. At Nash Road, the train would dump a total of 12 strings of rail for the yard where Mass Coastal transfers over to Bay Colony, and the North leg of the New Bedford Wye. After that and creeping up North, they changed with another crew at around 1:30. They then would continue past Tarkin Hill Road (Dock) into the woods until the new crew ran out of time on the clock. Some Earthquake Shenanigans Before and After!
Nothing PINK can Stay! These are the survivors who stayed stuck to the shelf. Honestly, I’m not surprised. Count Dooku and Grand Moff Tarkin are my galactic dream team and it’ll take more than an earthquake or a bad prequel to knock them down.

I didn’t notice how crooked that small framed picture is! All the pictures in my house that didn’t fall were crooked, and only three or four canvas paintings with no glass fell. So lucky.
The Imperial Stormtroopers are fictional soldiers from George Lucas' Star Wars universe. They are the main ground-force of the Galactic Empire, under the leadership of Emperor Palpatine and his commanders, most notably Darth Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin. The order of battle of the Stormtrooper Corps is unspecified in the Star Wars universe, but its numbers are far fewer than those of the Imperial Army's regular troopers. Talk much it is hard for this me. I still learning languages i am good not yet real at it.
My friend Krunchy teeches me gud. But think it is my language chord to complex to handle primitive reindeer vocal chord of this planet.
O' my friend Krunchy.. he little bird is my friend. He talks to me. He sez you are called a 'Hu-mans' speechies. Peep-holes of Urth..
Sorry i thought speechies of primitive planet was 'Urth' was 'deer'. I watch TEEVEAS one time ..young mother tells husband..'Yes Deer, No Deer'. O well..
'Scuse me.. i am very frustarated. Many adventure i have !! Last Urth Year you not seen me much .. but i seen you alot all the time. See ..it is hard as i travelz 'Urth'. As immigrant refugee to this planet i am very lost. Hu-man scientist hunt down alien where i am told they take them to Areas 51 in hot BBQ sand and eat them for the delicious meat.
I saw TEEVEA once.. man named 'Hu-Man' .. raise magic sword and turn into big Mus-cuh-les. Said he had power and he wore fuzzy thong. See you Hu-man are so confusing.

Grand Moff Tarkin presenting the specifications of new weapon in Imperial arsenal - NCM Mark II Pulse Rifle, which will replace T-21 light repeating blaster the squad is currently using.
This assault rifle also features a pump action 30mm grenade launcher mounted underneath the barrel.

I'm spending very little time shooting Lego, which may be due to summer time or I'm just still angry with a lot of cracked torsoes of expensive minifigs :-|
Anyway, I'm having a great time posting quick&simple action figure shots far away from any social networks :D and now I bought a few cool, high-quality guns for my team.
Unfortunately, mainly because original ones are made of soft and bendy plastic, becoming ugly and unusable over time. Tried hot/cold water trick to straighten them, but in vain. What a shame.
Ever since doing the Tarkins I've wanted to see how the full Imp. Officer would look in olive drab. These vintage repaints gave me the perfect opportunity for that!

Lúc Carrigan was said to be piloting one of the Rebellion's signature Xyloplanes during the Battle of Yorkshire, during which he managed to destory the Queen's flagship dirigible H.M.S Death Star , killing the nefarious Grand Duke Tarkin and achieving the first real victory against the British Empire.
The Xyloplane, named for its unusual wood construction in the back engines and propellors, is of Welsh design, and was built to be a craft for the burgeoning Imperial Army. However, the Welsh people soon grew tired of the Empire's many trespasses against their nation, and thus joined with the Rebellion, bringing the Xyloplane with it.
The ship is equipped with a powerful boiler that operates its four engines, as well as two high-pressurized torpedoes- the weapon that was said to have brought about the end of the Death Star. The ship is often nicknamed the "X-plane", for the distinctive shape its wings form during flight.

Leia - "No! Alderaan is peaceful, we have no weapons. You can't possibly—"
Tarkin - "You would prefer another target, a military target? Then name the system! I grow tired of asking this, so it will be the last time. Where is the Rebel base?"
Leia - "Krypton. They're all on Krypton."
Tarkin - "There. You see, Lord Vader? She can be reasonable. Continue with the operation. You may fire when ready."
Leia - "What?!"
Tarkin - "You're far too trusting. Krypton is too remote to make an effective demonstration, but don't worry. We will deal with your rebel friends soon enough."
And that's how/why Krypton was destroyed.
Alderaan was destroyed by the Empire under Grand Moff Tarkin's command as a brutal demonstration of the Death Star's power to intimidate the galaxy and force Rebel information, specifically the location of the Rebel base, from Princess Leia. Despite Leia revealing the base was on Dantooine, umm Krypton, Tarkin destroyed her homeworld anyway to show the Empire's absolute control and ruthless efficiency, resulting in the annihilation of its two billion inhabitants.

Tarkin is one of my favorite Star Wars villains. From his first appearance in A New Hope to Rebels, Rogue One, and the rest of the extended universe, he has always been a strong, cunning figure that strikes fear and respect in both allies and foes. Truly, one of the Empire’s best!
