Tarkin Ka Dargah (Tarkin Mosque) in Nagaur, Rajasthan, India

Attention, troopers! This is Admiral Tarkin with new orders. The chancellor has voiced his concern over the new threats arising in the Dathomir system. A malicious group known as Night Sisters has repeatedly interfered with our military expeditions. Reports show that this group and its members utilize unordinary weaponry and something that, in lack of a better expression, could be described as a sorcery. While you are familiar with the dubious ways of the Jedi already, their abilities might be even more absurd. In consensus with the chancellor, my research team and I have decided that a live subject is needed for further research into this matter. Your mission is to acquire a suitable subject in an assault on one of the Night Sister's lairs on Dathomir. The Jedi are not to be informed of this assignment and will have no part in this operation. I will personally lead the attack. Our assault will be swift and precise. Failure is unacceptable.

Hey there! Welcome to the Dathomir Collaboration! I'm so excited to kick things off today with part one. My part depicts the mission briefing in the hangar of a Venator Class Star Destroyer. A lot of inspiration for the hangar was taken from h2brick's MOC, and obviously, Venator hangars themselves. Speaking of inspiration, the AT-RT is pretty much just a combination of multiple different custom AT-RTs I've seen. Mainly, MClegoboy !. His AT-RT. I would credit the others, but I can't remember their names, and can't find the posts anymore. This thing is certainly rough around the edges. But I had fun trying some new techniques, and in the end, I'm happy with it.

Get excited! Part 2 comes out Thursday, September 3rd!

The Princess Leia Torso from the Death Star

Han's new hair from the Death Star

The complete Wedge Antilles figure from the battle of hoth UCS

And UCS Tie Pilot Torso

“Intelligence reports have shown that the Dathomir wildlife is most hostile. You will most likely encounter Dathomiran beasts such as Bane Back Spiders and Nydaks. Bane Back Spiders spread acid and toxic saliva even after death, so take them out at range. Nydaks are extremely resilient and can crack a troopers armor with ease. Use heavy weaponry such as rocket launchers and gatling guns to kill them. Our scouts have reported unstable terrain that is unsuitable for large vehicles. AT-RTs will accompany you as you march through the canyons. I must not remind you that a soldier who can’t even deal with mere animals is of no use to the Republic and our Chancellor! Wipe out those pests without mercy!”

It has been a great opportunity for me to be a part of this collaboration. All builders taking part are simply outstanding. This is one of my largest builds, which really says something about my collection. I didn’t have many clone troopers that would fit into this moc, but I see that as a good thing because I think it lets the build stand out. Credit to First Order Lego for the AT-RT design and buildsbybob for the bane back spider design. Make sure to like and comment and give your thoughts on the build!

This was a pretty cool episode with a ton of action. We actually are seeing Clones again :D. Tarkin was really gay though....

Watch the full episode here : theclonewarsseason3.de.tl/Episode-18.htm

Fives and Echo are total beasts :P

Had the chance to watch Joker on the 6th and man, it was fantastic. Not only was Joaquin Phoenix incredible at bringing Arthur’s character to life, the way the story was told really put you inside the mind of the crazed clown himself. Definitely in my top 3 films of the year!

That being said, I wanted to create a figure showcase after I saw the movie, so I finished them a day after. However, I didn’t get around to posting these guys til nearly two weeks later, so sorry for this being so late :|

Also, please bear in mind that this post does contain some spoilers, so read at your own risk.

Bottom row:

Young Bruce Wayne: Kind of a spoiler. Gave him the prank flowers Arthur gives him as well

Sophie: Pretty accurate in my opinion, the hairpiece works really well

Arthur: Looks pretty nice. Weasley Twins torso, Percival Graves head. He also has the gun Randall gives him

Murray: It was hard finding a head with a likeness to Robert De Niro, so I settled on Grand Moff Tarkins head. The pupils are drawn digitally.

Penny: Looks accurate to me. Threw in the pillow because...well...

Top row:

Clown riot guy: Not anyone in particular, but the torch was meant to be apart of the end scene when there’s the big riot.

Joker: the madman himself. I really like him in this pose, and if you’re wondering, yes, I actually painted the hairpiece.

SWAT: Like the clown riot guy, no one in particular. Just threw him in here cause he fit with the theme

Please let me know what you think of the figures, and the movie as well :)

Happy 4th everyone!

THE DRAGON IS NOT MY DESIGN

Just a little base I built the other day to show off the dragon ZCerberus sent me for winning a mount contest in GoH.

Thanks ZC! :)

The Exactor was among the very first Imperator-class Star Destroyers to be deployed during the final weeks of the Clone Wars. These powerful ships would later be rebranded as the iconic Imperial-class Star Destroyers and become the backbone of the Galactic Empire's naval forces.

In the scene I built, we see the Imperial High Command briefing a special squad of soldiers. The leader of the squad is a mysterious and unnamed Chiss woman, known for their blue skin and tactical prowess.

As the briefing begins, the High Command reveals crucial information about an upcoming mission. The fate of the Empire hangs in the balance, and the squad must carry out their orders with utmost precision and skill.

Despite the odds, the Chiss squad leader remains calm and focused, ready to lead her team to victory. Her sharp mind and combat experience make her a force to be reckoned with, and she inspires confidence in her fellow soldiers.

“All strive for victory. But not all understand what it truly is. To a soldier or pilot on the line, victory is surviving the current battle. To a politician, victory is an advantage one can bring to a bargaining table. To a warrior, victory is driving an enemy from the field of battle, or bringing him to surrender.

Sometimes victory is greater than the warrior could ever hope for. Sometimes it is more than he is able to hear.”

- Thrawn

It all started almost two months ago with an idea. Make something for May 4th (I’m late, I know, but cut me some slack). Me and Jan, the Creator are both big fans of the Imperial architecture seen in the Star Wars universe and wanted to do something large in size. After some hours of researching, looking through many concept arts and designs, the plans were put together and we set out to build our creations.

~ Platform ~

The starting point for me here was the platform on which the custom Tie Fighter (designed by Jerac) and many minifigs are standing on. One piece of concept art / Imperial structure we found was a large landing platform on Kashyyyk. To get the shaping right, a combination of corner slopes, hinges and many larger tiles were used to get the look. Since the surrounding area was to be terrain, I went with Dark Orange as the color for the ground. I purposefully left this area more flat and basic to leave attention towards the base. I also wanted a small area below the platform to store speeders which also helps break up the bottom area, giving it some action.

~ Base ~

The base itself was built in two main sections and some medium sized segments at the top. Walls here uses various tiles in LBG and DBG to form this Imperial architecture design. Was quite a challenge later on with the lack of tiles in certain areas so I had to get creative in how I would spread them. Instead of just using regular tile, I also made use of sandwhich tiles, corner faucet cut tiles and some snot to built up this area. Lots of other elements were used for detail including some DBG frames that I attached to tiles to create this column in the middle wall. The key thing while working on this was to keep a balance of simplicity and detail, something that can get lost while working on a larger creation. As we get to the top, you can see more detail and extras, like crates and dishes that populate this area.

~ Minifigs ~

The last thing I want to discuss is the minifigs used throughout the build. The Imperial selection of officers, troopers and crew is very extensive so once again, keeping a balance was important. Me and Jan wanted to include characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn and Moff Tarkin to give these creations a bit more purpose. Perhaps they’re here to inspect something new, here for a strategy session, the point is these two give a presence, even with being two small minifigs. The Death Troopers additionally work well to complement those, giving you once again the feeling that there are things at work here.

Thank you to CTR Bricks for helping edit the picture.

Dark Lord : The Rise of Darth Vader.

Darth Vader managed to track down the signal that tried to get acces to the jedi Archives. Furthermore he was able to identify what the escaped jedi were looking for: The jedi master Yoda, Luminara Unduil and Quinlan Vos, who fought during the last days of the clone wars side by side with the 41st elite corps on the wookie homworld of Kashyyyk. Not long after that vader arrived in the Kashyyyk system, along with the Impetator-class Star Destroyer Exactor, where it joined Wilhuff Tarkin and the Executrix. The two plotted their attack on Kashyyyk- Vader interrested in hunting down and destroying fugitive jedi, Tarkin interested in enslaving the Wookiees for use in the construction of the first Death Star.

Location: Coruscant

History

With the activation of the inhibitor chips, everything changes within seconds. Brothers became enemies! Every clone who disobeyed orders and joined the treacherous Jedi was executed without any hesitation. The clone army switched from a warm brotherhood to a cold, heartless army.

During the ongoing great Jedi Purge, in 18 BBY, Admiral Tarkin issued a new order:

The whole Grand Army of the Republic has to return immediately to Coruscant for reorganization into the new Imperial Army. The Military has to represent the new Galactic Empire and, thus, embody uniformity and coldness to intimidate and discourage any rebellious behavior. The highly personalized armor of the clones is to be replaced with new uniform white armor, and all the vehicles were to be re-colored in Imperial Grey.

After arriving on Coruscant, all clone troopers were to report immediately to the new imperial facilities to retrieve their new armor. Only a few veterans were allowed to keep their individualized armor as a sign for their heroic actions in battle.

Before heading out to hunt down the remaining Jedi and traitors, all clone commanders were assigned under the new command of non-clone Imperial generals, replacing the traitorous Jedi generals.

Meanwhile, Imperial technicians were assigned to repaint Republic vehicles to meet the standards of the new Imperial Army.

Here's my last bunch of figures for the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Chirrut Îmwe

"I'm one with the Force; the Force is with me."

Chirrut was surprisingly simple to make. His waist cape is made out of two layers of cloth - one red, one black. On his torso, I painted one half of it a matte black color and left the other half the standard LEGO color since he was wearing two layers of clothes in the movie. The strap/belt was made out of one strip of e-tape and wraps around his entire body, and also has a cloth cape hanging from it on the back. On the front of the strap, I included a few separate pieces of e-tape to show the grooves in the strap.

His left arm has a bit of sculpting on it. He has that Warlock Bond type thing wrapping around his bicep, and a gauntlet wrapping around his wrist. I also sculpted on the piece of armor on his hand.

He's armed with a staff, one that I should really update.

Baze Malbus

"How many do we need?"

Baze was pretty fun to make since he had a bunch of sculpted parts on him. Starting off with the legs, I sculpted on the knee pad and the thigh armor. On the torso, I sculpted on the huge chest piece that wraps around his neck and goes onto the back. Below that are the ammo packs(?) and some other gadget. On his wrists I sculpted on the ends of his suit. On his right shoulder I added on his shoulder armor piece.

As for cloth, I made a cloth belt and a little cloak on his back.

Speaking of the back, I had to make his ammo canister too. I used a 1x1 round cylinder piece and sculpted on it to give it the right shape, and I added the handle and ring pieces that extend off it. This also allowed me to stuff his ammo belt inside of the canister and get some movement out of it.

The gun was made from a BrickArms Afterburner. I mainly used it as a base and sculpted on the rest of it, slapped a scope on, and made the belt from e-tape and a rubber band (thanks to Dylan for suggesting this).

The head is the standard LEGO head and I modded the Thorin hair which works pretty well.

Bodhi Rook

"It's Rogue. Rogue One."

Bodhi is probably my least favorite out of all these figures, but he wasn't too complicated to make. The main thing I want to talk about is the torso.

For the torso, I crafted a vest out of a CM overcoat. All of the pockets are separate, folded over pieces of cloth glued on. On his arms are additional cargo pockets and the Imperial symbol painted on.

His head is the standard LEGO head, and the hair piece has some goggles glued on with a piece of cloth as a strap.

He's armed with a DH-17.

So what do you guys think? I'd love to hear your thoughts! I'm debating on making more Rogue One figures, and if I were to, I have Tarkin, Saw, Galen, and a Death Trooper in mind but I'm not sure if I'll go through with these so let me know if you'd be interested in seeing them!

Thanks all :)

Two of the highest ranked officers in the Imperial military. One a close associate of Emperor Palpatine, the other an outsider whose strategic brilliance caused him to achieve the highest rank within the Imperial navy. A feat few have accomplished, and fewer still have accomplished in a similar time frame.

(Left to right)

Grand Moff Tarkin

Grand Admiral Thrawn

Here are a few extra shots from my Dathomir moc.

The clones aboard Tarkin’s Nu-Class shuttle, Karkarodon’s Dread, staggered from side to side, as the shuttle’s cargo hold rumbled unceasingly, slowly conceding to the Nightsister’s dark magick and it’s tight, glowing, yellowish-green grasp on the vehicle.

“Hang on boys, it’s about to get real rough”.

The pilot’s warning could not possibly prepare the troopers on board for the crash they were about to live through; As the ship’s nose hit the ground with a loud thud, consequent sparks of electricity and crackling noises, both from the comlinks and the ship’s internal electric workings lit up the scene. The screams of the victims whose bodies were being crushed by the ship’s machinery, which was no longer located inside the ship’s core, but rather sporadically laid across the ground, could barely be made out amidst the chaos that now reigned the previously calm atmosphere. A final, overwhelmingly loud explosion knocked out all clones and other sentients present on the crash scene, plunging them into a short-lived coma.

“Lieutenant, gather your men and call us a transport at once”.

Tarkin’s voice broke through the now silent atmosphere of the crash scene, where clones were once again staggering to their feet, some doing so in futile attempts to get up. The second pilot, the one who’d alerted the troopers to the imminent crash and had somehow managed to survive it, jumped over his seat. Sliding down the lateral face of the downed shuttle, he kneeled a few meters farther to help a fellow brother get up.

“Leave him, there’s no time. This is war for Coruscant’s sake! We’ve managed to capture a live subject and it’s survived the crash in its cryostasis pod. We must bring it to Coruscant at once, no matter the cost or casualties. If we are to succeed, no time must be wasted”.

The admiral’s cold-hearted speech on the cost of winning the war obviously destabilized the pilot, even though he’d heard it from many others before. Like all clones, he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving a brother to agonise behind. After all, clones like him were bred with a strong sense of loyalty, not just to the jedi, but to their brothers as well...

This my second entry for a Star Wars Contest at my LUG www.imperiumdersteine.de.

I had to build a MOC that represents a planet, so my choice fell on Alderaan in the moment of its destruction by the laser beam of the Death Star.

I built this scene as it is pictured in Episode IV, showing how Leia has to witness the destruction of her home planet as a prisoner of the empire onboard of the Death Star.

In near orbit around the dreaded Death Star...

Luke: "Biggs! Wedge!"

Biggs: "I'm going in! Cover me, Luke!"

Wedge: "Me too!"

Luke: "This is impossible!"

Biggs: "Just keep it steady!"

Wedge: "Almost there!"

KRAAKOOOMMM!!!

Luke: No! Biggs!

Wedge: "I can't shake him! I'm hit!"

Luke: "R2, try to increase power!"

R2-D2: (beeping frantically)

RATATATATATAT!!!

Luke: "Wait! Who's that??"

Snoopy: "WAWA! WAWAWA!!"

RATATATATATAT!!!

Luke: "Snoopy! Yes! Nice shooting!"

Snoopy: "Wa! WAWA waWA?"

Luke: "Fly down in the trench! There's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. If you can drop two large cheesy pizzas down that part it should gum up works and cause the Death Star to become a buffet!"

Snoopy: "WAWA WA WA!!"

Luke: "Wow, the Beagle is strong in that one!"

PLOP! PLOP! SPLORTCH!!

A direct hit! Yavin 4 is saved and Grand Moff Tarkin developed a love for stuffed crust pepperoni!

Cdr. Bannon’s Log: Scarif has been a somewhat heated conversation topic among high command as of late. Even though not unanimous, Scarif has been decided as a strategic priority for the Triumvirate expansion. I’ve taken it upon myself to inspect Cdr. Voluth’s mining operation in the former Aurek-14 excavation site.

Most of Aurek-14 was buried in a mining accident around 0 BBY. If my theory is correct, Aurek-14 should still hold some of the best kept secrets of the Tarkin Initiative. Personally I’d like to have a look myself. An inspection is the perfect cover, and the perfect opportunity to test my new Eta-2 TIE Interceptor.

Cdr. Voluth: Commander Bannon, we are honored by your presence.

Cdr. Bannon: You may dispense with the pleasantries Commander. I’m here to inspect the mining operation!

Cdr. Voluth: I assure you Cdr. Bannon, my men are working as hard as they can.

Cdr. Bannon: Good... And the salvage operation?

Cdr. Voluth: We have managed to salvage roughly 200 containers of kyber.

Cdr. Bannon: Excellent! Shuttle the containers to my ship immediately. I will inspect a few other sites before I return to my ship. Commander, I want daily reports on the operation.

Cdr. Voluth: Of course sir!

I know I have a lot going on in this build, but I didn’t feel like removing anything. The moc is supposed to be a cut-section of the mining canals seen in Scarif concept art from Rogue One. Spend a lot of time on the rock work and the orange tram that slides on the rail. Credit to Jerac for the TIE cockpit.

Also, the MOC is a part of the Factions RPG over at Eurobricks. Check it out here: www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/175956-s...

Midnight on the Death Star, Grand Moff Tarkin surveys his glorious creation.

Quick shot of some "Lego-ish" panels I've been messing around with.

So I finally finished my Rogue One spinoff/extra figures, and they turned out great! Special thanks to Sander for the incredible sculpt he did on Saw, which included the torso armor, robotic leg, and hair/beard. Definitely go check out his Flickr, he's got some great content on there. Anyways, I hope you guys like it :)

“Command, this is CT-0656, assigned to the GAR scientific research division, currently under the command of Admiral Tarkin and clone Marshal CC-1717. The admiral requests immediate extraction from our temporary research base two clicks south of the Dathomirian catacombs; we’ve had numerous encounters with hostiles, which may very well be on their way here right no—”.

Speak of the devil. Unintentionally right on cue, the Nightsisters and possessed Nightbrothers make their way around the base, in some sort of flanking maneuver intended to surround the clones standing guard next to the research base’s entry tunnel. CT-0656’s level of alert rises a couple notches, as he quickly speaks to the holographic standing before him.

“Mayday, mayday! We’ve made contact, requesting immediate extraction, I repeat: requesting immediate extr—”.

“Trooper watch out!”

It’s already too late. As CT-0656 turns to face Tarkin, a few meters ahead, he feels a sharp object insert itself into his back armor plate. His screams are silenced when the pain finally reaches his neck, destroying his spine and skull as he slams hard onto the concrete landing pad. Hopefully his message was clear enough; all that’s left to do is redirect it using the research base’s integrated communications antenna which, in theory, will, hopefully, successfully broadcast the message to all nearby Republic channels. The uncertainty there lies in the fact that since the research party’s arrival on Dathomir, they’ve experienced severe and highly unusual meteorological phenomena. The base has been hit with irregular quantities of high speed winds, almost as if the spirits of the dead on this planet were trying to communicate a simple message to the clones: leave. That said, the experimental equipment brought down to the surface, sensors and such, have been greatly damaged. The chance of the message getting to the ears of the nearest fleet admiral and his warships is very low, but as of right now, it cannot fail.

“CT-0786, get on that antenna, I want this message gone yesterday”.

“Sir, yes sir”.

CT-0786 answers from his guard post up above, conveniently located next to the antenna’s control panel.

“Fifty percent, sir. Eighty percent. Ninety”.

The upload is so quick, the Nightsisters barely have time to react. They give it a shot anyway; two of them send bolts of green energy in the clone medic’s direction, while three more pronounce incomprehensible incantations.

“Upload completed si—”.

The clone medic’s sentence is cut short, as a huge explosion originating from the comms panel, and the Nightsisters magic bolts before that, projects CT-0786 off the landing pad. Barely a few seconds later, the main door to the base is breached from the inside: the clones’ detainee has escaped.

“Retreat! Fall back!”

Despite all the sounds of sizzling bolts of blaster fire and wizard incantations, Tarkin’s voice can clearly be heard above all others. He’s ordering a retreat, meaning the battle is lost and the clones must await the extraction shuttle. Hopefully, help is on the way...

Grand Moff Tarkin

Built: 2019

"Of power, I could tell you much. One must seize the moment, and strike." - Tarkin

Tarkin is one of my favorite Star Wars villains. From his first appearance in A New Hope to Rebels, Rogue One, and the rest of the extended universe, he has always been a strong, cunning figure that strikes fear and respect in both allies and foes. Truly, one of the Empire’s best!

I'm even more excited about Rogue One now that the new BTS reel was released! One thing I'm curious about in Rogue One is Tarkin, he was overseeing the construction of the Death Star so it would make sense for him to be in the movie. However I don't know if they want to do that, because living up to Peter Cushing's performance as Tarkin would not be easy. I also really don't want to see a CGI Peter Cushing. :P It'll be interesting to see what they do though.

The Inquisitorius was an organization of mysterious, Force-sensitive dark side agents who served the Sith-ruled Galactic Empire. The operatives of the Imperial Inquisition were called Imperial Inquisitors, or simply Inquisitors, and were also nicknamed "Red Blades." They were tasked with hunting down the remaining Jedi who had survived Order 66 at the end of the Clone Wars as part of the Great Jedi Purge.

Another shot to remember Carrie Fisher.

More Star Wars cause why the hell not. From L-R: Edgy 66' Teen Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, Princess Leia, and Darth Maul.
