Tapas workshop with the in-laws. Not really tapas, none of the recipes really Spanish, none of them really good. For that money (€ 60,- pp) I'd rather have somebody else cook for me. ;-)

Tapas at the bodega, run by a frenchman and his german wife. It was a bit pricey and we were surprised by getting a bottle of wine instead of a glass, but it tasted good and the courtyard was beautiful.
My version of tapas for the girly cocktail party I had at my house. Empanadas, shrimp, cheeses, olives - I got the recipes off of the Food Network website - "Tapas Party". Yay internet!
Oh yes - this is a great game! Order a beer or two and get a surprise tapa. One of which may or may not, mess with your gastric canal. :D
This weekend it's exactly one year since Rachel was diagnosed with A.L.L., so to celebrate her still being with us, and indeed doing so well, yesterday I bought her some flowers, and today made tapas for lunch, with a bottle of prosecco to wash them down.
Egg, mayo and smoked paprika; saucisson, dill pickle and Romano pepper; smoked ham and asparagus; rillettes de porc, pickle and pepper again; olive and marinated anchovy skewers; and in the bowl at the back spare olives and asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes and cream-cheese-stuffed spicy pimentos.
There was also a big hunk of nice ripe watermelon for dessert.
Yum, TISSM :-)
