Tangle free for now. Looks like it will be some work keeping them at bay once dry! Might need to layer it.

It’s always sad to see this kind of thing; I spotted this monofilament fishing line horribly tangled in a tree near a local lake recently. It was a dreary day, but my flash made the line stand out.
For Our Daily Challenge: Right Angle (I think there are two or three that are pretty close here.)
A twig is a small thin terminal branch of a woody plant. Twigs are critically important in identification of trees, shrubs and vines, especially in wintertime. The buds on the twig are an important diagnostic characteristic, as are the abscission scars where the leaves have fallen away. The color, texture, and patterning of the twig bark are also important, in addition to the thickness and nature of any pith of the twig.
New Tangled the Series Rapunzel wardrobe doll set...just kidding haha! Actually this is my OOAK doll set. I've made the blue night dress, so I put it into the original doll box.
But I really hope Disney could make Rapunzel a new wardrobe doll set!
This tangle pattern was inspired from some of the iron work supporting the benches on Cromer pier. I've included my reference photo in my blog post.

Back in the woods, beyond a frozen pond, lies this dilapidated old barbed wire fence wrapped in frosty, dried thistles and mottled in sunlight. This is looking down on this fallen fence.
Thank you for your visits and have a wonderful Friday. HFF

Somber silence
Cascading
Encapsulating
Corrupt me
Defile me
Persuade me
in to capitulation
into your loving
....warmth:
Enveloping
Entwining
Embracing
this is not pulling the trigger
this is waving the white flag
on the ship that has long since been
Sailing then
Sinking and
I would like to stay afloat
Yet drift far enough away that
I no longer have to see the shore that can
Chew me up
Spit me out
Swallow me whole
lure me with lullabies in to the dark
this never ending tunnel of
fabricated blithe
hammer chest in my ears
pounding to the rhythm of
You & I. Together again:
Crevasse canvas of
Euphoric enigma
Dazed desires
A sea-sick stomach will steady
Storms and speculations
Heartbeat acceleration
Black ocean; destination
Repent
Reclaim
Relapse.
my love has never failed me.

This tangle pattern is named after the stretch of the River Soar that runs through Leicester. The embankment was renovated some years ago, and incorporated new railings containing this pattern. I've included my photo of them in my blog post. I also declare this to be my 50th tangle pattern!

Images like this can be confusing to look at, I find sometimes I think too hard about what I am seeing and need to take a step back and admire what nature has created. I liked the patchy golden light, and a river is always too good to resist. This sort of scene reminds me of the issues I have trying to sort out my electrical charger drawer!
