"There are horrible people who, instead of solving a problem, tangle it up and make it harder to solve for anyone who wants to deal with it. Whoever does not know how to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all." -- Friedrich Nietzsche

Ta-da! It's the new 'Tangled' OOAK group banner, featuring the collective talents of the group! Thanks for being kind enough to let me use your pictures, guys.

This creeper growing up a wall in the Monte Palace tropical gardens really summed up the lush feeling of Madeira. The bright greens and tangled stems gave an impression of a structure abandoned to and overtaken by nature.

Wonderful rope, and thin ones knitted into fishing net!

I also see it as a symbol of how, in a good relationship, you as a person, together with your partner, your lives become 'intertwined' and therefore so much stronger...

A hole is quickly restored, lol

I have a feeling my friend Laurie will like this one, and Yolise, too. Best view is large.

I'll have to get a real frame - this is from picnik.

Inspired by the classic black and white abstract photos of oceanic objects by Edward Weston.

Last month or so has been extremely busy between personal and professional challenges. So,while I have taken the photos, I haven't had the heart to process or post them till now.

Here's photo 6/52 taken on our short, safe, secluded, but very necessary trip to Oklahoma. Something about the tangle of roots really caught my eye.
